I had a wonderful experience at Sushi Q Normandy in Ellicott City while dining with friends. The service was excellent—our servers were attentive, friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal.
We ordered eight chef’s special rolls for four people, and the food came out promptly with a very reasonable wait time. Everything was fresh, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. I also placed a large to-go order, which was made quickly and stayed fresh and flavorful—even when my boyfriend enjoyed it later at home.
The pricing was very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, especially considering we ordered specialty rolls. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I will definitely be returning in the future!

Sushi was great . I got a mango avocado roll.
I didn’t try appetizer . Hibachi entre was not good . All that sauce on chicken and no flavor . Some parts of chicken were very hard . Rice was decent . Some vegetables needed to be cooked longer . Customer service not great. After receiving my food they took 45 minutes to bring me yum yum sauce . Not the best sushi place I’ve been to eat at.

Great value for your money. They do not skimp on the fish for the sashimi. Genuinely amazing. Meals also come with miso soup, an appetizer, and dessert. Everything was delicious and I couldn’t eat it all.

Came here as a solo diner and the service was excellent. I felt very taken care of and they even went the extra mile to give me a free dessert! Food was perfect as a sushi lover and it was all around a 5 star experience! Can’t praise the staff enough.

I ordered takeout at SushiQ, not expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. The Wayne’s Roll seemed popular and a must order, so I just chose it. It’s really unique- with tuna, cucumbers, fish roe, AND jalapeños. The restaurant also gave me soy sauce and white sauce, which was absolutely delicious. The jalapeños complemented the sushi fantastically, in addition to the crunchy fish roe and sauce. Overall, highly recommend sushi and great service.

Always thrilled with the quality of food and service at this location. They’re all so accommodating and kind, and it’s nice to rely on the fact the meal will always be good. Great deals before 3pm, too! We get the California rolls and salmon teriyaki and have never had an unpleasant experience.

My partner and I ordered the Wayne’s and Hawaiian rolls. The Wayne’s was better. We also shared chicken and steak hibachi which was delicious, juicy steak and chicken chunks in a sauce with amazing fried rice and veggies.
We also received a complimentary appetizer of imitation crab in a yummy sauce, and a slice of cheesecake. The appetizer was better than the cheesecake.
We would come back again.
