We heard about the famous olive burger and had to try it on our path to finding Lansings best. Turns out, this really IS the best. Perfect mayo to olive ratio atop a delicious patty. My only complaint is not enough onion rings on the side, I need an entire bowl option, please.
We played pool while the crowd was growing around lunchtime on a Tuesday. I wish I had used that opportunity to buy more burgers to go.

Awesome establishment. The Olive Burger was great! $2 PBR’s. The ladies working we’re all very friendly and seem to work very well together as there was a HUGE party coming in as I was leaving.

I’m a creature of habit so I normally get the chicken tender or shrimp basket but we decided it was going to be “cheeseburger Saturday” so we all ordered one. I chose American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, mayonnaise & mustard & this burger did not disappoint! After dinner we enjoyed cocktails & singing to the jukebox, a fun time was had! Every time we visit Eaton Rapids we stop at Abies!

Great food, staff and bar! The bartender/waitress was super attentive and friendly. The burger was one of the best I’ve had my only complaint is the decor in the bar is MSU because I’m a Michigan fan! Go Blue! Stop in and try this gem you won’t be disappointed!

Classic hometown bar vibe…the burger is to die for!!!!! Fries are great, and cheese curds are the bomb. Cheese curds have a really thin coating , dipped in ranch or Siracha ranch…super yummy!! Will def be back for another burger!

The waitress was more interested in sitting at the bar with customers chit chatting than waiting tables. We were there for dinner for this first time on Sunday 8/3. There were only a couple of tables but the time it took her to attend to us was as if she had a full restaurant to serve. My daughter in law ordered the special. It took her at least 10-15 min after we ordered to tell her they ran out of the special. So she asked to see the menu again. The waitress dropped off the menu and proceeded to walk away but she was ready to order again. When she brought the food, she acknowledged we all needed refills. My daughter in law also asked for a my dew and ranch. The waitress only brought back the ranch and mt dew and went back to the bar to sit with friends again. So my husband went to the bar and asked for refills on the rest of the drinks. The waitress proceeded to say in an annoyed tone at the bar that we didn’t ask for refills. So another woman came to get our cups and refill while our waitress continued to sit at the bar talking to friends. We were very unhappy with the overall service. The waitress proceeded to whine about how she had 7 tables to serve at one point. That’s not a lot… I would think the owner would like to see a full house. But staff isn’t interested in that.

WOW! Incredible experience. When you first walk through the doors of Abie’s you’re instantly brought back to a simpler time. The design and craftsmanship of the interior is gorgeous! The drinks and food are delicious and traditional of any classic pub spot. Food came out quickly and hot! Portions are plentiful and the prices are more than fair and affordable to all. To top it off everything was clean and well organized. Definitely would mark it down as a classic bucket list pub to check out with your family or friends if you’re ever in the area. In fact, I drove two hours to get there today for a lunch date & I plan on stopping in again the next time I’m traveling that way! MUST STOP SPOT!
