Small place (only 5 tables, with two seats each) with a huge vegan menu, as well as non-vegan-options, we haven’t eaten yet, So we’ll judge the food after our meal. I’m giving it 5 stars just offering so many vegan options. We ordered the vegan calzone and vegan eggplant parmesan dinner. The vegan calzone came first from their brick oven, it was very good, with very good vegan stretchy cheese (reminding me of Follow Your Heart cheese), mixed with their vegan ricotta (possibly made from tofu excellent flavor), with good Italian seasoning, waited a little longer for the vegan eggplant parmesan it was a large portion, thick slice of eggplant, very close to the real thing.My wife raided it as a 9 out of 10, only reasons it was not a 10 was that she prefers thin sliced of eggplant. The cheese on top was crispy from the brick oven and plenty favorable and plenty to eat. which came with side salad & vegan creamy balsamic dressing and some garlic bread knots, staff was kind and eager to please. I would come back just to try other vegan options on the menu. They all look great.

Really great pizza. Thin crust, brick oven, cooked perfectly, and not too greasy at all. A usual downfall avoided by Costa. The toppings were simple but really well done, and you can tell they care about what they’re making.
Staff was super friendly. The place is a little small, but it has that classic neighborhood pizza feel. As an Italian, I don’t say this lightly — this is some of the best pizza I’ve had in the U.S. My only regret is that I live a little too far away to consistently return.

Costa Pizza is one of my top 3 favorite pizza restaurants in New Haven. I stopped into Costa one day back in 2015 when my co-workers and i were looking for a quick bite to eat on a break from a work training. I grabbed a couple of slices and they were so good. I have been frequently visiting ever since. The food is always fresh, hot, delicious and prepared with love. Their menu is vastly accommodating with food options of all types. From wings (and other appetizers), to their delicious traditional and specialty pizzas, to wraps – paninis – subs/sandwiches, hearty salads, to pasta dishes, and even Vegan and Gluten free options. One of our favorites (which we order every single time) is their Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza. Topped with seasoned Chix breast, chopped beef bacon, Gorgonzola crumbles, shredded Mozzarella cheese, their house Ranch dressing and baked to perfection… Chefs kiss. We alway order a Large with the crust not too well done. Outside of the amazing food, staff is always very friendly, personable and welcoming. I had recently ordered a pizza and went to add some crushed red pepper. I didn’t realize the whole lid was loose adn the entire shaker of pepper went onto my slices. I was willing to just tough it out but Moudy (the owner) made me a new pizza, without me asking.
You can’t beat that kind of service. They open til midnight which is great for those late night cravings and the prices are very reasonable. 10 out of 10 across the board

I use Costa for work catering, and they are utterly fabulous. And even fabulous may not be doing them justice. The front office staff is accommodating, communicative, and kind. And their delivery driving is always helpful with set-up. The pizza is yummy don’t get me wrong but the real star is the garlic knots. We DEVOUR the garlic knots. So perfectly garlicky and hot and crispy, and the side sauce is to die for. We will keep ordering from here!

Amazing food, great costumer service, quick service time. I got the chicken parm from here and loved every bite, I highly recommend. The bread was amazing, perfectly crisp yet soft at the same time. Bread absorbed the sauce very well.

This place use to be my families go to spot for a late dinner option. At one point we thought the hot wings were THE BEST for a pizza place and the Meatball pizza was delicious. Our last late dinner order with them has changed our minds about even considering to order from here ever again. Our wings were not fried crispy as requested instead they were covered in feathers and looked as if they cooked them frozen and threw hot sauce on them.We ordered the 12 piece hot wings and could nibble on 2 (one for each of us). Surprisingly the pizza looked like they spread parmesan cheese all over it instead of mozzarella the cheese was crispy though the irony. The customer Service is down hill and the food is too. Just be cautious they have their good days but at your own risk.

This place is amazing! Tried the Vegan Ham and Cheese Sub and the Vegan Chicken Parm Sub and they were both delicious. Also, tried a vegan cheese pizza slice and that was also delicious! Great east coast Italian style pizza that I grew up on. The Vegan Ham and Cheese Sub was so good I ordered more for lunch the next day and it was still great even after being refrigerated.
The service was also great! Not sure if it was the owner but the gentleman who helped us was very friendly and explained the different options and recommendations he had.
Would definitely recommend.
