The food itself was absolutely divine. I love Italian, and so it’s difficult for me to swoon at a restaurant. But Jay Luigi made me fall head over heels! Everything was the perfect blend of authentic yet comforting. Meeting my expectations for what I was hoping a dish would taste like, and being absolutely delicious while doing it! Some restaurants try to put spins on classic dishes that end up taking them off the beaten path. But Jay Luigi takes Italian staples, matches authentic recipes, and stands out by doing them so so so well! I already can’t wait to go back again!
Parking is limited, but they have valet! It’s sometimes complimentary, sometimes paid, depending on the day of the week/season. But if you don carry cash they do take credit cards!
This is definitely a be back for me! Either for a girls night, a romantic dinner, or for happy hour! If you’re looking for good Italian definitely give Jay Luigi a try!
We went to celebrate our special day but a little gesture of small sweet could have enhanced the experience.
Jay Luigi is officially on my “must-return immediately” list.
My boyfriend and I came for brunch and shared the Hell’s Chicken and the Tiramisu French Toast and… I mean… holy crap WOW good. Like close-your-eyes, pause-the-conversation good.
Every bite was layered, intentional, and beautifully balanced. You could actually taste each spice and flavor individually, which is rare and impressive. Nothing muddled, nothing heavy. Just chef-level execution.
The drinks? Unreal. Their sangria is some of the best I’ve had in a long time, fresh, smooth, and dangerously drinkable. And the Tira Me Booze cocktail? Absolute brunch perfection. Fun, creative, and perfectly paired with the food.
And can we talk about the house-fermented sourdough? Because I’m still thinking about it. Truly to die for. If loving bread this much is wrong, I don’t want to be right.
On top of all that, the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Our server, Stone, was an absolute standout! Super cool, genuinely welcoming, and completely on point without ever being overbearing. That kind of service elevates the whole experience.
From food to cocktails to service, Jay Luigi absolutely nailed it. This is the kind of place you recommend enthusiastically and then immediately plan your next visit.
10/10. No notes. Can’t wait to come back.
However, despite all the things I didn’t like, the food was still pretty good. My favorite dish was the Brad tower with the olive oil & herb dip. It definitely has a rich, bold flavor to it. All Pastas are Al Dente style, and mine had some lemon sauce with shrimp in it. I liked the dish overall, but I didn’t like the bits of lemon thrown in there. Overall, it depends on who you are. For me, this place is unfortunately a miss.
It was amazing to talk with Chef John and learn that their products come directly from Rome.
Manager David was extremely helpful and welcoming. I also got to speak to waiter Yus , who told me he lived in Brescia for 15 years, and being able to speak Italian with him was such a treat.
If you are looking for truly authentic Italian flavor, this is absolutely the place. The whole experience made my day, this place feels like home.
Special mention for their desserts the tiramisu and the gelato were extremely delicious.
In all a great spot to hangout and get some good fresh food.
