I ordered takeout from this place a few weeks ago, and honestly, it was really disappointing.
In the first photo, the roll had fresh avocado but what I got was brown and clearly not fresh. It shouldn’t have been served like that.

The Spider Roll used to be my favorite, but look at the thick batter, I’ve never seen anything like it before. I understand if the crab is small, but the amount of batter was way too much.
Sadly, this experience was just not good at all.

So I work at an adult shop and I often order doordash for lunch through mochi But when I tell you the picture that I’m sharing is the best it has ever arrived to me. It always feels like someone shook up the package aggressively before they gave it to me. Now, while I’m sure some of this is on the doordashers who are delivering my food, it also has to be said that the packaging that they use is not it. Please fix your packaging so I stop having sushi that looks like it went through a hurricane

Have eaten here 4 or 5 times now. The staff is always warm, welcoming and attentive. It has become a favorite to go to with my granddaughter. Any of my kids, grandkids would love it. In fact, we usually take something To Go for my daughter and son-in-law because they enjoy it too.
We’ve had the sushi, hibachi and bibimbap. Loving it all. The bibimbap stays HOT the entire time you’re eating! Have to have enough patience to let the rice on the bottom crisp up. YUM!!!

I love this place. During hunting season, I order once a week while the husband is away and I’ve never been disappointed by the food. The staff is super friendly and it’s good to see young people getting experience in the hospitality industry. The servers always have a great attitude and hold it down well when there’s a massive rush from what I’ve seen. The only thing that would bring me even more joy when I come here is if takoyaki was added to the menu. Maybe someday. Definitely give this place a shot

Me and my girlfriend had a rough day and decided to try and make it better with Mochi Sushi. We love the Ramen. We decided to try the sushi and sashimi. I got the dynamite roll. Mind you this roll is 15 dollars. It wasn’t worth it in the slightest. It was so incredibly small and disappointing. And we got deep fried banana. We got a half bananas worth of banana for 6.50? (5 nickel size pieces) Everything was expensive and the portions were embarrassingly small. My girlfriend called and the manager wasn’t kind at all despite us being kind while being disappointed. Totally killed any desire to ever go back. I do not recommend.
UPDATE: I got a text to my personal phone from an owner, telling us we wouldn’t be receiving a 6 dollar and some odd change refund for the tempura banana after they already confirmed a refund. This was due to me leaving a bad review. Such sad and bad business practices. And no, you don’t use a whole banana. You’re a small local restaurant that does not serve the freshest food while having unreasonable serving sizes and prices.

The food is fantastic, we’ve been coming to Mochi Sushi for a long time. However, the service has gone downhill lately. Tonight, we ordered carry out and waited at the front of the restaurant to be seen by the staff. After 10 minutes, we decided to go to the back and look for our food on the carry out table. We noticed that half of our order was missing from the bag. When we got the staff’s attention, we were told that the other half would be made promptly. After another 10 minutes, the two waitresses were talking and we overheard that the other half of our order was not even placed with the kitchen yet. My husband confronted the waitress and asked for a refund. The Manager finally came out of her office and paid us cash for the amount of food missing from our order. It is clear that the two waitresses working tonight do not have any restaurant experience, received the proper training, or even the will to care about customer service. Again, the food is great, but the staff needs to be trained better. We won’t continue to order carry out food from this restaurant if this doesn’t change.

Placed an order online for take out. This is our first time trying Mochi Sushi and it’s now one of our favorites for hibachi. We didn’t try their sushi so can’t speak to that part of their menu. I had their chicken hibachi with fried rice and a house salad with ginger dressing. Their salad is the freshest salad I have ever had at a hibachi or Sushi restaurant!! Their ginger dressing is really good too. The hibachi is large, vegetables are fresh, chicken is cooked really well, rice and noodles are amazing, and love their yum yum sauce.

I stopped by for lunch after seeing the high reviews on Google and was immediately seated in the almost empty restaurant. I tried the limited weekday lunch special of spicy salmon, spicy tuna rolls, miso soup, and a salad. The soup and salad were excellent. The spicy tuna roll was flat, and I would have liked the tuna to be a bit cooler. The spicy salmon was average. They have American wasabi, so no heat, no matter how much you pile on.

No sushi bar seating but booth and flat tops available. Good service. It appeared clean. Maybe I should have gotten a higher-end roll. I probably would not return because I’ve had better sushi elsewhere.

We tried this place out for lunch this afternoon. My wife ordered the shrimp hibachi “platter” and I ordered the beef lunch bowl. The miso soup was so so. The salad was fine. When the main dish showed up, my wife’s platter was huge. Her shrimp was good but got cold within the first 5 minutes. Her opinion was fine, but… My bowl had great vegetables (and I even got one slice of mushroom). The white rice has no sauce on it and was dry and luke warm. The “beef” was as possibly overcooked as possible, was hard to chew and had no flavor. This place was a “one & done” for us. We will not be returning and neither should you.

We visited Mochi Sushi on a Sunday evening about 630 just before a pretty big rush crowd. They have a nice extensive menu with raw, fried and baked roll options. I will have to warn you their rolls are VERY BIG but they’re super good. We highly recommend the naked tropical roll. The don’t serve alcohol.
