Let me start by saying I’m from the NE, so I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect here as thin and crispy pizza where I am from is reserved for chain locations. This pie was crispy the whole way through, with blackened crust (very much a personal preference of mine). The was a good amount of cheese and sauce, which wasn’t overpowering and provided excellent taste. The guy at the counter was chill and polite. The price seemed to be fair based off the couple other places I looked at.

What pizza re you all eating, to give all these 4 star reviews? This is one of the worst pizza ever. There is almost nothing on it, and what is there isn’t good. The sauce is bland and flavorless along with the cheese and pepperoni. It’s like eating pizza toppings on top of stale bread. It has thr thinnest layer of cheese and sauce I have ever seen on a pizza. Like they took the smallest amount of cheese and sauce they could and put it on a pizza I have had gas station pizza with more robust toppings.

Unfortunately food is not consistently prepared well. The 2nd time I ordered my pizza was burnt on the bottom. I informed them when I tried Ace for a 3rd time. Pizza was not burnt but it wasn’t seasoned well. I had to add seasoning to the pizza. The wings were crazy dry; like they were a few days old or something. Very disappointing. No longer my go to pizza place which is unfortunate because their customer service is on point. On the hunt for consistency in both food and customer service.

Took a chance on this place and actually traveled all the way from Chicago, just because of the reviews and let me tell you it was worth the trip! The pizza was satisfyingly well cooked, it was not over cooked or under cooked, it was just right. There are also a generously amount of toppings. Wings are extremely indulgent and savory! I am very wary of trying different restaurants as I am picky with the wings. Ace Pizza exceeded my expectations! Wings are not dry and definitely not scrawny! It’s definitely worth trying out it’s Lansing’s diamond in the rough.

I don’t expect much when buying 1 slice of pizza. But this spot far exceeded my expectations. I ordered a slice of sausage and asked if they could toss it back in the oven for a few minutes. While waiting, I spoke with “Mr Ace” and got a little back story. Impressed, I ordered a pound of shrimp and fries. Munched on the slice while waiting for the shrimp and OMG the pizza was better than any slice I’ve ever bought. The shrimp were perfectly crispy. The fries were just a little soft, but this place still deserves 5 Stars!
