This location used to be very welcoming and good portions but now they are very rude and try to charge extra for everything while giving you half portions. I was throwing away my food when I noticed a raw dry in my consume. I noticed this after all the grease had already made me feel sick. Wish they went back to prior staff and portions.

I love California burrito and have been going regularly since they opened! The food is always good and fresh, the workers are always really nice, restaurant is always clean and it’s quick!! The only thing I’d say is the horchata used to be so good when yall had it in the big pitcher, these bottled horchatas are alright but not anywhere as good as the og, I hope yall go back to that recipe someday! Also should consider I different cutting mat rather than the plastic one!

The food is great, but if you door dash the portion you get isn’t the same as ordering inside. So we would do pickup till tonight. Never again being ignored while ordering for the second time I’ll just find a better place to eat. Like I said great food, but customer service no so much.

This use to be our go to when in Burlington but now it’s slacking….i got a chicken burrito bowl with barely any chicken in it! I notice all new employees now, not sure if that has anything to do with it but they aren’t as generous with the portions as they once were & I seriously feel like I have a veggie bowl!

It’s perfect for a fresh California & Mexican lunch or dinner or option.
they treat all the ingredients with care I love that they use fresh chopping of the meat and that’s they use their grill for most food items and all the tortillas are warmed up right when you order.
the chips were fresh tasting I liked their guacamole it was creamy and flavorful. the white queso was on point, the best I’ve had in a while!
It’s a small place with about 10 tables and the price point was perfect! Can’t wait to go back because I love this kind of fresh Mexican foods!

The food at California Burrito is consistently good, but the pricing seems to continue to go up and some pricing is deceptive. They used to have the California burrito as the Monday special, but now they’ve done away with that and I think even increased the price for the Californian burrito to $15.99, which is insane. Now they have these lunch specials instead, which are advertised at $9.99 and include up to “two sauces.” Additional sauces are 25 cents a piece according to the advertised lunch special board. However, I got a burrito with chicken and added only queso and Verde sauce, and they charged me an extra dollar for the queso. There is nothing on the sign that says queso is not an included sauce, nor does it mention that queso is a dollar. I got one little dribble of queso and they upcharged me a dollar with no signage in the store to indicate this would occur. That is deceptive pricing and a real rip off to the customer.

Thank you, thank you to the owners of California Burrito! I have been here three years and we haven’t been able to find any Mexican food worth eating! I had your fish tacos, my husband shrimp tacos. We shared a carne asada fries. We haven’t seen any of these in three years here. You have saved my Mexican California taste buds. This Mexican is so happy right now. The table was quite the entire time we were eating! I haven’t had tomatillos in three years! Honestly, your food is amazing, eventually I want try everything. We definitely will be a regular customers. I kind of panicked when my husband told me the story of the construction going on in front of your restaurant. He was told that your business is slow right now. Get a huge banner in front, We Are Open! I don’t want to loose you!
