Stopped on our way through the area, looking for a local gem. The Hillview was a nice option.
Service was great. Our waitress was very kind and caring. We were seated in a side dining room. Nice space for a separate event.
The meal was excellent. Beef roast very moist and tasty. Grilled vegetables done to perfection. Had chocolate pie for dessert. Was not too sweet. Nice topper to the meal.
Also ordered a side of cream of mushroom soup. It was good but a little heavy on the pepper for our liking. Not horrible though. Mashed potatoes were instant which is always a disappointment…although they weren’t bad.
They had a dessert case that was tempting and lots of variety. We orders the chocolate pie and rice pudding. Pie was great. Rice pudding portion wasn’t worth $5. More like $3 and that’s being generous.

Will never eat here again. My fiance brought me out for a nice dinner. We were greeted by a man in a camouflage jacket and jeans and seated us. The waitress looked like she didn’t want to be there. We ordered one thing and they brought us something different. The man in camouflage didn’t shut up the whole time we were there. I really don’t care to hear about your life while I’m eating from several tables away. Not worth the money at all.

We were greeted by some guy in a real tree camo T-shirt. I guess he is an owner. Then for the next 20-25 minutes I heard nothing but talking in Italian possibly. They never stopped talking. I kept hearing about Ferrari and how much he bought the place for over and over and over again. We are never coming back to this place. Oh we ordered stuffed shells and we got spaghetti instead with no explanation. Never again.

We had a great dinner. Waitress was so very nicest and was so thoughtful about the sun being in our eyes and asking if we wanted to close the shade on the other side of the restaurant. I had the pork chops which were a bit dry. I wish they served applesauce but otherwise all the food was great! Guest had the fried chicken which was hot, delicious, and crispy. The sides were cooked well, not overcooked and beans and broccoli were still crisp. Mashed potatoes were great as well.
Overall a great place. I had previously eaten at the Gardenview which apparently is related to this restaurant but they have completely different menus. We will definitely be back to both. Nice to have a local restaurant like this as so many are struggling.
My only complaint was the booths need work. Both of us sunk uncomfortably into our seats which had seen better days and were taped over in multiple spots. It was not appealing and legitimately made the meal uncomfortable.

The food here is fantastic! I got the gyro souvlaki and it was so tender and flavorful. Our waitress was outstanding… always filling out water. My girlfriend got the chicken soulvaki and raved about hers. I’m a soulvaki connoisseur… HIGHLY suggest this place. Portions are great. Took half home!!

This morning (black Friday), a group of 6 of us walked in and waited 5 minutes to be greeted by a hostess. Upon seeing us, she immediately said “no, to long of a wait”. She then oddly asked “how many total?” We said we were a group of 14 (granted is a large group). She simply said “no”, turned around and walked away. This has been our Black Friday breakfast tradition for 15+ years. Thankfully we found another local spot that was more than willing to accommodate our group. Sadly, a tradition done thanks to incredibly poor service.

The food tasted delicious! It was a tad on the salty side, but not too bad. The Ruben I had was actually very well made and perfectly crisp. The fries are also crispy. Would recommend. I’ll definitely be returning here.

Food was not like it used to be here waitress was not very friendly food was greasy, salad had to much mayo in it floor was so greasy we slid into the booth. Very disappointed

One of my favorite spots. The food is really good with a perfect serving size and good price value. The staff is always friendly. There’s ample parking and it’s a convenient location.

The food tasted okay, but it didn’t sit well. The facility is maintained very poorly, is dirty, and seating is in disrepair. Service was unremarkable. The pictures say it all. The paper menu was stained with food. The salt and pepper shakers had food debris on them. The ceiling tiles were coated with gray fuzz from air movement. The plate was cracked.
I ordered Swiss cheese in my omelet and it came with cheddar. I ordered tomatoe slices instead of both home fries and toast…..they upcharged me $2, which I feel is exorbitant.
The owner cashed me out and was a ray of sunshine.
I really wanted this to be a decent experience as I was looking for a new breakfast place, this was not it. I will not plan to return.
