Over charged and under served!
Although the quality of the food is good, I am not happy with the outcome. I spent $60 on 2 sandwiches and a coke. I understand airport food is expensive and I also got extra ham (that was an additional $3) with my turkey sandwich but when I received the order there was barely any turkey let alone any ham on it. My recommendation, if you’re going to eat here order the bare minimum and make sure they got everything correctly.

Only tried the salted caramel with chocolate chips and pecans. It was great, and they had a few other flavours, including a vegan chocolate option. The lady was also nice to chat with.

I ordered the Italian sandwich and didn’t enjoy it at all. The meat was chewy, the bread was dry, and the eggplant/brinjal inside was disgusting. I had to remove it from the second half of the sandwich just to make it somewhat edible

After waiting twenty minutes for my food, I received only half of my order. When I asked one employee for help, she pointed me toward another person preparing breakfast sandwiches. That second employee replied, “I don’t know when yours will be ready,” with a noticeably dismissive attitude. If the staff dislikes their job that much, they should not be working in customer service. I ultimately had to leave to catch my flight without the rest of my very expensive, prepaid “fast food.”

Do not under any circumstances attempt to order a sandwich from here.
The employees literally sat behind the counter openly mocking customers asking about the status of their orders. I watched an employee just straight up leave bc she didn’t want to deal with orders.
Mind you, there were like 5 outstanding orders. It wasn’t even busy. The employee just had pure hatred in her eyes. She wanted to ruin people’s days and you could see her giddy while she denied people service laughing at them.
I had to leave, wasted $24.

Absolutely pathetic. I ordered “The American” with extra ham. The menu lists ham or turkey, provolone, lettuce, tomato, mayo. After waiting over half an hour, I got my sandwich. Sat down on the plane and opened up stale bread, with two measly pieces of ham and no cheese. $23.99, never again.

Total rip-off. Paid $20 for a sandwich that barely had any turkey, and they didn’t even serve the wheat bread I ordered—even though that’s what they advertise. Honestly, one of the worst places to grab food in Newark. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Items on the menu are mislabeled with incorrect and misleading allergen information. There are differences between the menu on the sign and the mobile ordering, and also the nearby Ikaedama bar which serves the gelato from this location. Staff was unhelpful and unwilling to clarify. Mislabeled allergen information is dangerous and irresponsible and this needs to be corrected. Very disappointing and rude service.

Oof! Even after adjusting for airport food standards, this is so bad. Just terrible, terrible sandwiches…. the stale sesame bread for my gabagool sandwich was so off-putting. It took forever for them to make the sandwich, making me question whether they even knew what they were doing. The order system adds the tip automatically which seems very unethical. Very unsanitary… the service folks wear gloves but they touch everything with them on and never swap out for new ones, yuck!

This entire food court is a racket. WAYYY over priced and under-quality food. This sandwich was $20 by itself. No paper receipts even by request. They MUST capture your cell number to text you one. Slow, attitudes, the works. I’ll go hungry next time. Not even kidding!
