Reviews
La Condesa offers an immersive, high-end bar atmosphere with beautiful interiors, an ambiance of casual elegance, and a refined cocktail menu that feels thoughtfully curated from start to finish.
This isn’t just a place that serves cocktails, it’s a place that understands them. From the balance and structure of the drinks to the quality of the spirits behind the bar, there’s an intentionality here that feels reminiscent of nationally renowned cocktail institutions. The bartenders are knowledgeable, precise, and clearly trained in their craft — the kind of detail and execution you’d expect in a major city cocktail bar.
Coeur d’Alene has wonderful spots for drinks, but La Condesa raises the bar (literally) when it comes to elevated mixology and experience. If you appreciate well-built cocktails, thoughtful presentation, and a bar program that takes itself seriously in the best way, this is your place.
Cheers to a new era of craft in CDA.
It was a disappointing first time for us.
The atmosphere is nice, drink choices on the menu are ok. I couldn’t really find one that peaked my interest. Most drinks on the menu had Tequila in them. They had a good selection for NA cocktails.
Bar seating is very uncomfortable, I think spending a bit more for the bar stools would have been a better choice.
With all that being said, I know this place is new and still working out the kinks as they go. We will try again.
I finally made it in, and I’m glad I did. The service was excellent (thank you, Deanna!), and the cocktails were thoughtful and well executed. My partner and I really enjoyed the ambiance — stylish without trying too hard — and the whole experience just felt good. Buzzy without being noisy, and they also take reservations if you feel so inclined. Since they’re newly opened, the hostess welcomed us with a glass of bubbles and a cheerful smile, which was a lovely touch.
Prices are reasonable, the daily Happy Hour starts at opening time, and the drinks are balanced and clearly crafted with care. Add a solid wine and beer list, and you’ve got a spot that works equally well as the start to an evening or a last stop on the way home. A great addition to the neighborhood.
