Went to Skyline 500 Rooftop Bar for Taco Tuesday and tried the steak, chicken, and beef tacos. All three were very tasty with solid flavor. They were a little on the dry side, which was unfortunate, but the mild and spicy sauces definitely helped and added a nice kick. The atmosphere was amazing—great rooftop vibes and views—and the drinks were fairly priced for the setting. Overall, a great spot and I’d definitely come back, especially for the atmosphere and drinks.

Thursday was our first time visiting the rooftop bar at the Shelby Trio. After visiting a couple of other spots in downtown Clarksville, we decided we decided on a nightcap at the Skyline 500. When we got there around 9pm there were only 8 other customers there. I love the layout and design of the inside area, with the bar being right as you enter after getting off of the elevator. A security person and one bartender were the only employees there, and they were both quite nice. As a huge fan of outside and rooftop bars there were 3 things that kept this getting 5 stars.
1 – The alcohol and beer selections were quite limited. I did expect more options from an upscale establishment.
2 – The outdoor area was definitely smaller than I expected. It’s not tiny by any means, but assumed there would be more outside seating to enjoy the great rooftop views.
3 – There is no bar access on the outside rooftop. You have to go back inside, to the opposite side of the bar, to get additional drinks. Perhaps on busier nights there are servers so you can remain outside.
Other than that, I enjoyed my visit and love the Shelby’s Trio concept. I’ll be back.

For our anniversary, we went here for cocktails. They treated us so well and made it very special. They even gave us a free cheesecake dessert that’s about to be on their new menu. Spoiler alert: It’s delicious.

Got the California Flatbread and the Gambas Al Ajillo. Best Flatbread I’ve ever had, and the shrimp dish is from the second floor italian restaurant. So it’s pretty great quality shrimp. Will be returning.

We’ve been coming to the rooftop for the past year for Wednesday night trivia and absolutely love it. HOWEVER, the menu has taken a serious down turn. Not really any good options on there anymore that we really enjoy. Got the lettuce wraps tonight. Very first thought, looked like cat throw up. Decided to give it a try, and I feel as if that’s exactly what cat throw up tastes like. Really disappointed in that. Turns out the chicken is blended (would be good if it was just a cut up grilled chicken breast). Spoke to the manager, and he of course offered us something else which was nice. Please, I beg, take the wraps off the menu. We also got the pulled pork BBQ Nachos, and those were fine at best. Great idea but the execution wasn’t all that. Adding more meat would be a huge start. No issues at all with the service, drinks, atmosphere etc, that’s all great. If they could get back to even 50% of the old menu, I’d be ecstatic. Likely will only be ordering food to-go from downstairs from now on.

It was relatively busy given it is a Saturday, but our bartender never approached us even after seeing our empty glasses. I even asked if she could make a certain drink and they did not even try to help me. No limes or salt as we had asked. People that had arrived after us had their drinks given even though we had already placed our order. Our bartender was nowhere to be seen and we were forced to leave cash as payment as we could not get her attention. We didn’t even bother trying to get another drink.

Bartending staff were amazing! They noticed I didnt like my drink and offered to make me another one. Ryan ( i think ) made a delicious strawberry margarita. Then Michael made me the BEST pineapple mojito. It was 10/10 delicious!! We ordered the sliders which were good enough. The bread was a little crunchy (stale?) but overall tasty! Knocked 1 star off for the bread.

Skyline 500 Bar and Restaurant in Clarksville is a true gem! The atmosphere is stylish and relaxed, with a great view and a welcoming vibe. The food was delicious—well-prepared, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The drink selection was also impressive, and the cocktails were crafted with care.

The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this spot is definitely worth checking out. A great place to unwind, enjoy a quality meal, and take in the Clarksville skyline!

The bruschetta on the new menu was tasty. The onions were cut unevenly and quite large, but the flavor was really good. I tried a lettuce wrap from my friend’s appetizer and the chicken had a weird texture. It was not good. The beer cheese in the trio of dips was amazing. The best part of the whole night was the bartender Seth P. He was so attentive and pleasant to talk to! He also recommended the bruschetta that I enjoyed.
