We are Maine’s first name in pizza! Est. 1947 in Portland, we continue to carry on the cash only experience because it avoids credit card fees and keeps our prices lower, so why not! We wouldn’t have the business we have today without our family and amazing patrons who love our pizza, because it takes them back to the good old days. We are family run and will continue to be until the end! We will continue to be cash only because there are not many businesses that do anymore and it is what keeps the price of pizza lower for customers. Each swipe takes away from the business and it also would force us to rise pricing because of the cost of each swipe! Thank you all for being a part of our family and keeping our long going tradition!

As always, consistent and fantastic. Always fresh, always handmade. You can taste the love. A great family business with a long history. Can only show you a picture of somebody else’s perfectly topped pizza because mine didn’t make it long enough to have its picture taken.

Super clean! Super friendly staff! Simple, tasty pizza. Cash only is great, with tax included in the posted prices. Love the history on the walls, I felt like I was in a classic, local joint not past its glory days. Very happy we ate there.

First thing I should mention, it’s a cash only restaurant. Atmosphere is definitely cozy, with a classic pizzeria feel to it. Servers were awesome, I got there right at the beginning of the dinner rush so they were already busy with call in orders. They were super nice to talk to, multitasking like champs.
Now onto the food. To be honest, it was cold by the time I got home as I have a long drive. And it was still absolutely delicious. It is a thinner crust pizza with lite sauce, so those who don’t enjoy that should be aware before ordering. They had the standard amount of snacks/drink options for the area, nothing to crazy. So people should find at least 1 thing the like other than pizza.
Taxes are included into the prices so what you see is what you get, which I greatly appreciate.
All in all; will happily go back.

I had some coworkers tell me to come here because of their pizza. This was my first time coming here. I walked in not knowing it was a cash only place and didn’t have cash to pay for my large pizza, bag of chips and two drinks. I’m not sure if they were the owners, I really wish I asked if they were but these amazing people gave me my food for free… In this economy?!? These are the kind of people you want to support, I am very grateful for this kindness. The pizza (large pep with mushrooms) was also amazing. Please, if you’re not familiar with this pizza spot, give it a shot! I will always recommend this place from now on and continue to come back. Bring cash!! And to the owners, if you’re reading this, I will be back to pay my tab I promise!

Perfectly cooked every time with a nice crispy thin crust. The pizza is light and crisp with a wonderful sauce that is not too sweet. Most importantly, each pizza I have eaten from here was consistent and made by someone who took their time and appreciates good pizza.

The pizza was great. I am usually not a thin crust pizza lover but this pizza was phenomenal. Very fresh. Loved the pizza sauce. I also love that you can only pay cash. It’s very old school but it works. I would definitely get pizza from them again.

Been eating Angelone’s pizza for years. It’s by far the best pizza around when you’re in the mood for a good old fashioned pizza. Nothing fancy and no frills, but excellent pies. Family run by 2nd and 3rd generation family members creating a great and welcoming vibe. Not to mention it’s by far the most inexpensive pizza you can find in the greater Portland area.
