The location is good. Chicken Hariyali has green color added and no flavor. Kali Mirch chicken (pepper chicken) is with red curry sauce and didn’t have taste of any mirch. Biryani was ok and hence a star. All other food tasted flavorless

We booked this restaurant through The Fork expecting the advertised discount to be applied transparently. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.
After the meal, additional “table charges” were added to our bill, which effectively cancelled out the discount. When we questioned the amount, we were told the payment on the POS machine would “expire” if we did not pay immediately. This explanation felt unreasonable and pressured. As customers, we have the right to review and understand the charges before paying.
We ended up paying the full amount despite booking through the app, which defeats the purpose of using a discount platform. I am currently filing a formal complaint with The Fork regarding this issue.

The only dish we were able to eat was Chole Bhature, and unfortunately it did not meet expectations. We also requested a second serving of pani-puri water because the first one lacked flavor, and we were charged extra for it. While charging may be acceptable if stated clearly, the overall quality and experience were disappointing.
Service & Transparency
What upset us most was not just the food, but the billing transparency and how our concerns were handled. Instead of addressing the issue calmly, we felt dismissed.
For anyone considering dining here, I would strongly recommend confirming all additional charges in advance — especially if booking through The Fork.
If you’re looking for Indian food in Florence, we had a much better experience at Aroma of India. The staff there were welcoming and transparent.

You made the right decision of reporting it to the The Fork about not allowing Indians and all.
Yes, Indians do not deserve a bad food neither does Italians.
And Do not worry, I will not come to your food joint ever, AROMA and others are far better.

Where not able to book thru The Fork because of the restaurant policy of not allowing indians with 50% percent discount because of the bad experience by the Indian Customers.Especially The Most recent one.I live in Canada and came for 5 days vacation.I found the restaurant and staff very cordial and quality of food high considering the North Indian Taste.
*We place order with ease with high level of customer empathy provided by the staff.
Recommended dishes Butter chicken ,Palak paneer,Samosa ,Special Chat ,Garlic Naan and in sweets Kheer( mouth watering).
* At personal level no one put pressure on us for anything as mentioned in one of the review and we experienced as if back home with true indian atmosphere.
** We recommend this Restaurant for people who believe in quality & quatity as well as real north indian flavour.
My Recommendation For Authentic Indian Family Restaurant excellent choice .
Please don’t go with the fake reviews .
They also helped us in parking of car and non spicy food for our 10 year old child. They are friendly and offer good hospitality.Simple loved We had 4 dinner’s and the Manager also shared about the bad experience with the previous Indian Couple apart they also gave us 15 percent less on food for being Indian .Guys what else one need.
Wish Delhi 6 and its staff all the best and keep on growing as they have already completed 25 years is service .Excellent Job !

Delhi 6 in Florence is a true delight! The food is absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors and beautifully prepared. Every dish was tasty and comforting, just like a perfect Indian meal should be. The ambience is warm, inviting, and makes you feel relaxed the moment you walk in. Went in for dinner as part of Europe Group Tour by WOW holidays. Small and compact space but efficiently served all the items of food to the table. It was buffet but served on the table. Have seen many system of buffet being followed throughout this ten days and this turned out to be the 2nd best.
Food served was dhall, potato, mix veg, pappad, naan, pickle, rice – all standard across Europe but taste was definitely up the ladder. Heard chicken gravy also was good.
Ambience was good.

Let’s start with the overall food experience:
– I hate the word “authentic” as it’s overused. This is the closest you’re going to get to home made North Indian cooking. The Dal Makhni was enriched with flavor. The lamb was very tender.
Atmosphere:
They kept traditional Italian architecture with Indian decorations and roots embedded into their cozy restaurant.
There owner was very kind to have a conversation with me about his restaurant, his biggest concern is to provide quality flavor! Ali was very kind and accommodating with his service.
If you find Indian food intimidating, I would recommend talking to the staff as I believe they would accommodate to your needs.

This was our third of fourth time here – really good. Very good quality and an excellent price. The staff are really friendly and helpful. They can speak Italian and English. I’d recommend trying 016 Delhi ki pain puri – as pictured.
