So im writing this as i continue to wait on my 8 peice chicken on which i was told 14mins and that was perfectly fine. I have been waiting 36mins at this point and the bad thing is that this is the second and last time ive made this mistake. I love popeyes but this is exactly why locations are dropping like flies.

Terrible! Ordered a 5pc tender and they were so tiny. I was the only customer and they had to cook them fresh…. so it’s not like this happened on accident. I definitly won’t be back. $16.70 wasted.

I absolutely love Popeyes — the chicken is always crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The spicy chicken sandwich is one of my favorites — juicy on the inside with that signature crunch on the outside. The sides are just as good — especially the Cajun fries and mashed potatoes with gravy.
Every time I visit, the staff is friendly and the service is quick, even when they’re busy. The restaurant is clean, and the food is always fresh and hot. Definitely one of the best fast-food chicken spots around! Highly recommend!

Ordered takeout for 2 people, was almost $70. Waited over an our for our food, then they forgot our chicken sandwiches which is what we were waiting for for the past hour. Had to drive back again and wait longer. So almost 2 hours of waiting for FAST FOOD. the tea was gross, the sandwiches were gross, the cheesecake was warm. Will not be returning ever again.

Sad this is the only Popeyes in hobbs. Someone needs to tell the employees the portions don’t come out of their paychecks. Ordered 1/4lb shrimp and got 4 pieces and some crumbs, as well as a sad excuse for a “full serving” of chicken- (1 skinny piece and an inch long nugget) spicy sandwich was so dry as whoever made it is rationing out spicy sauce for some reason??? Terrible experience

The reviews of this place are definitely not wrong, but we decided to try it anyways because my daughter really wanted to eat there. We get to the drive thru and start placing our order. We order drinks and not one time were we told that they were out of ice. We get to the window she then states that she can’t tell us that they’re out of ice because they record everything that you say. They’re not allowed to say it in the speaker. It would’ve been nice to let us know before taking our money because I definitely wouldn’t have ordered sweet tea/drinks had I known. Then there were the sides. The Cole slaw and biscuits tasted off. My kids and my husband agreed so it definitely wasn’t just me. I normally love Popeyes, but this one just doesn’t cut it. We were there 8-13-25. I don’t see this place being open very much longer.

Sat in line several times for 30+ minutes with one vehicle in front of me. Never ready to take your order when you pull up. Cold food, burned chicken, the tenders they put in the box are laughable, forget the sauces on a regular basis.

We gave eaten here 3 times and each time has gotten progressively worse. The quality of each item is terrible. It is not Popeyes as a company only this one. Don’t waste your money. Go across the street to Church’s Chicken. The quality and service are 10 times better.

Man if Eddie is there it’s a 5 star experience. It’s clean food is out fresh and in a timely manor. The issue is when he’s not there.
