Absolutely love stopping here it’s well worth the 15-20 minute wait for them to make your food fresh! Extremely good tacos, we normally get the chicken and steak tacos with cilantro and onion and they are always amazing. Update, I just ordered papas asadas with pork, and a tortas with chorizo. The chorizo was the absolute best I ever had, truly amazing. Everything was so good. I’ve been to this location over 50 times and everytime it’s amazing!

Order one pastor taco and one jalapeño pepper.
The pastor taco lacked significant flavor in the meat.
2.5/5
The salsa was flavorful but sour
1/5
The jalapeño pepper was enjoyable, but it taste like came right out of the refrigerator.

*Based on what I ordered, this is my rating other food may be good*
Overall 2.5/5

These are authentic Mexican Street Tacos. Try the Tripa and Cabeza ones. Those are finger-licking good.

Nachos Supreme.
This plate consisted of Tortilla chips, refried pinto beans, lettuce, tomatoes, pickled jalapeños, sour cream, cheese sauce, and avocado.
Protein options were steak, pork, tongue, head, barbacoa, chitlins, chorizo, and chicken.
I ordered steak.
The chips to topping ratio was balanced.
The portion size was enough for one adult.
The dish pricing was reasonable for the portion size.
Overall, this plate was ok. Typical concession style nachos but with more toppings.
I wouldn’t order it again.

I was excited to get a burrito. I checked online and the burrito said that it was $7, however when I got there it was $11. This is a big enough difference that I would like to know in advance. I was ordering for six people and our order was substantially more than I was estimating and this was unfortunate. The food was great, but I should have known the prices ahead of time. We’ll try other restaurants in the area before we go back. They could have had a loyal customer with us.

When I went to el Toro yesterday I got steak tacos for my daughter. She was eating in the living room until I heard a loud crunch come from her mouth. Turned out there was a piece of bone in her steak. Also the steak was burnt on the edges which made it harder for her to chew. Overall I suggest you go the Mc Donald on 76th st instead of coming to this olace.

If you want to try this place out, TRY IT!! I absolutely LOVE it here! Everytime I order my food It’s always so fresh & good! I get the Taco dinner. They include the tacos, rice, beans, baked potato, jalapeño & cucumbers. Steak is cooked very well, rice & beans are so good. Their sauces are AMAZING! Overall the food is 10/10!! One of my favorite Mexican spots.

The food is always fresh and tastes amazing. This time we tried the steak and Pollo tacos, Mexican and American style. Grabbed a barbacoa Tostada, which was loaded with veggies. Delicious! The horchata and hibiscus beverages are great too.

The tacos were a complete disappointment. Bland, no flavor, tiny portions, and the meat was so tough it felt like chewing rubber. On top of that, the prices online are NOT the same in person — they overcharged me at the register. First and last time I ever go there. Save your money, because this place is absolutely not worth it.

Kept passing this place on the way to work, and finally tried it today – Taqueria El Toro in West Allis!
We each grabbed a taco dinner: Carne Asada Mexican style, and Al Pastor American style without tomatoes. They each came with rice, beans, jalapeño, and potato (?) . That was a weird surprise, but everything was soo good and it was filling.
A large horchata on the side.
