I’ve been to a lot of places around New Port Richey, but The Goose easily stands out — and a huge reason for that is Summer. She is hands-down the best bartender in the city. Every time I come in, she’s friendly, fast, and makes the whole place feel welcoming. Her service is unmatched, her drinks are always on point, and she treats everyone like they matter.
If you haven’t been to The Goose yet, go — and make sure Summer’s behind the bar. You won’t find better.

New management, great owners, the place looks great after the remodel. Servers are friendly and here to serve you. Great drinks and prices….Bands are awesome and a good mixture of local and other bands as well. Definitely a great spot for a drink and music.

The only good I saw with this bar’s renovation was having the extra pool table removed so karaoke was better. First, the drinks were outrageously priced. For a plastic cup, I was charged $7, for a half shot of malibu and the rest was pineapple juice which made it very weak My friend had a double with tequila, and was charged $14. I feel like they are trying to cover their renovation costs quickly. I also saw a small child there, and I do not agree with this, even if it is “allowed” in Florida. It’s an adult establishment with alcohol. It seems to be drawing a young crowd now…what used to be a local watering hole seems to be trying to be all to that young crowd. I won’t be back…love my karaoke but not at that price.

This place is awesome. Prices have been adjusted. It’s only been open a week so I understandthe growing pains. They worked out the kinks. Definitely check it out. Max and Ronnie are amazing!! Happy Hour is great too. From noon to 6pm!!
