Their chicken momo are juicy and savory! Very nice texture and good amount of filling in each! The chicken paalak is packed full of flavor! Their naan is buttery and soft! It’s such a hearty meal! We will be going back for their vegetarian options!

Anyone who frequents Midtown Global Market would surely see this small Nepali-Indian restaurant. The manager – Naveen is a hardworking and friendly man who takes care of the establishment and makes sure the customer has a great experience. He also cooks the food frequently and for those of us not Minnesota natives he makes sure to provide options to have the food spicier than what is normally being offered. The food quality is superb as you will see the small but excellent options being cooked fresh. In terms of Indian food your options are Chicken Tikka Masala, the Indo-British favourite! And a vegetarian curry option also. The dosas are made fresh each time as you order so the Midtown hospital staff come and enjoy fresh during your lunch!! For Nepali food, well momos are your only option – whether it is chicken, bison or vegetarian. These momos are steamed and not the jhol momo soup some of you may like. Meat and the green (vegetarian) momos are tasty and fresh! Honestly it is a small fare, but the food quality is high and the service is great as long as Naveen is at the helm. (Edit 10/2/2025) Seems the owner have decided to reduce Naveen’s hours. An older man who takes over frankly sucks! He stood there watching a line of customers waiting and did not even so much as acknowledge any of us. Took his time taking the order then took over 20 minutes to do 2 orders on what I seen Naveen was able to do in 5 minutes. Bad customer service, apathetic attitude on the food and customer service… when Naveen isn’t here I cannot recommend this place for anyone in a hurry. Honestly if this business dies, you can guarantee it is because the older guy driving customers away.

I went to Chennai, India for a wedding in 2018 and fell in love with dosas. I came back to MN and had a hard time finding South Indian cuisine – I was thrilled when o found Momo Dosa and could enjoy eating dosas in MN. Highly recommend the food & will happily be a repeat customer for years to come.

This was one of the many food places in the Midtown Global Market, and I think they have solid food overall, with both the momo and the curry tasting like what I would expect them to taste like. I enjoyed what I had ordered. I thought the bison momo tasted better with the yellow sauce, while the chicken momo tasted better with the green sauce. As for the meat curry, it varies depending on the day, and I got chicken on the day I visited.
For those who plan on visiting, I recommend going earlier than later, because their meat curry, which can change depending on the day, is popular and therefore is likely to run out first.

Dosa itself was decent, but the sambar and chutney were very disappointing. Sambar was the consistency of rasam, very surprising given the price. Saving grace was that I brought my own podi with me and ate it with the dosa. I’m conflicted, because I want to support a business that serves South Indian food, but it’s hard to justify the expenditure when the food is mediocre.

Momo Dosa has the best momos in town! I like to place my order with the portion made of half vegetable and half chicken flavor. The chutney complements the dish marvelously.
I think the momos here are special because they keep their shape and don’t fall apart or break as you start eating them. They are steamed to perfection. But this is not the main feature. The combination of ingredients and the texture of the fillings are so satisfying!
Aside from the food, I also want to compliment the service. They consistently take very good care of everyone. I keep coming back for more!

The chicken momo and bison momo are delicious! The green sauce is outstanding! The mango lassi was a bit small for the price.

The chicken momo was pretty good. The masala dosa was nice, crispy, and delicious. The chicken tikka masala with basmati rice was also pretty good. However, it took a while to get the food.

Momo dosa restaurant has a very great authentic flavour, full of Indian spices in dosa and momos. Naveen who works over there was very friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. I highly recommend Momo Dosa for anyone craving tasty Indian street food in a comfortable setting!
