As someone who’s had a plethora of general tso’s dishes in the past several years I was very pleasantly surprised after deciding to try the one from here. The chicken was well cooked and filled with juicy white meat. Each piece was perfectly sized and the sauce had just the right consistency with combination of sweet and spicy flavors from the sliced peppers. Will definitely try again.

Health rating posted legally on wall is under 90. Which is a “B” in the 80’s. Can get busy at times surprisingly with that rating. A with a 40 minute wait for pickup for to go food and that’s just to get the food. Especially when busy. People like the food.

Just ate here for the first time, I ordered the General Tso’s chicken and it was really good! I’ve had my fair share of of General Tso’s chicken and this one nailed the perfect mixture of Sweet & Spicy sauce and crispness. Finally, I found a great American style Chinese restaurant in Alpharetta I highly recommend it! It’s incredible as is but personally I asked for the chicken to be “extra crispy” or as the serve said “well done” and it came out unbelievable.

There plenty of parking spaces, and service was courteous, internal decor is okay, nothing special. I choose Shredded Pork w. Spicy Garlic Sauce from Lunch special menu, my wife selected Sauteed Pig Kidney from Chief menu. I got sweet and sour soup right after my order. The soup was good. My shredded pork was also tender and tasty, the pig kidney was crispy, the spicy level was good to both of us, we both liked it. To be picky, I would say the sweet and sour sauce for shredded pork somehow tasted same as the soup.

I love Great Sichuan so much! Everything here was excellent. For food I love the chinese yam dish, pig kidneys, and sour cabbage fish soup. Service was pretty good and not too rowdy inside. Food came out pretty quickly. Outside seating is also available if you have a dog. I also don’t really recommend the ice jelly thing or whatever it’s called for dessert, it’s not very flavorful. Overall highly recommend.

Amazing food, one of the best in Georgia! They have Chinese-style menus and but also an American menu, which I did not try. The Chinese menu was excellent with really great flavors. I enjoyed every dish! The duck was of excellent quality with really nice pieces, not bony at all. The staff was also very friendly, and the restaurant was clean. Prices are also good with large portion sizes.

I recently stopped by Great Sichuan Restaurant for dinner, and it was a solid choice for some comforting Chinese takeout-style eats. The place has that classic casual vibe—think bright lighting, simple wooden tables, and a no-fuss setup that’s perfect if you’re just popping in for a bite without the fancy frills. It’s not trying to be upscale, but it feels welcoming and efficient, especially during busy midday hours.
I ordered the beef with vegetables, hot and sour soup, and beef noodles—all classics that hit the spot. The beef with vegetables was tender and packed with crisp broccoli, carrots, and peppers in a savory sauce that wasn’t overly sweet or greasy; it balanced flavors just right. The hot and sour soup was a highlight—tangy, spicy, and loaded with tofu, mushrooms, and bamboo shoots, with that perfect silky texture from the egg ribbons. Finally, the beef noodles were hearty and slurpy in the best way: wide noodles tossed with thinly sliced beef, green onions, and a light broth that soaked up every bit of umami without being too heavy.
Service was impressively quick—even with a short line, my order was ready in under 10 minutes, and the staff was friendly without hovering. Portions were generous for the price, and everything arrived hot and fresh. If you’re craving straightforward, tasty Sichuan-inspired fare in a relaxed spot, this is worth a visit. I’d go back for more of that soup alone! 4.5/5 stars.

Delicious and authentic and unique! Some of the best vegetarian food options ever had! The tofu skins are sooooo good, the texture is perfect! The bean noodles are so refreshing and the chili oil is addicting! The shrimp dumplings were so packed with filling and paired perfectly with everything we got. The service is so sweet and the atmosphere is so clean and we loved the food so much! Will definitely come back again and again!!
