I was really disappointed with my experience at Taquero in Saratoga Springs. I ordered barbacoa tacos, and while eating, I bit into something hard. When I pulled it out of my mouth, I realized it was a piece of wood, picture is attached. This was not only unpleasant but also a serious safety concern.
Mistakes happen, but food safety should never be compromised. I expected a much higher standard from this restaurant. I will be following up directly with the restaurant about this issue, but I feel it’s important to share so others are aware.

Wonderful taco shop and donuts! Yes I said donuts. The good was amazing. The service was wonderful, so friendly helpful and patient ( when you are not sure what to get). Seating was a little limited but ample.

This place is awesome! The tacos are seriously some of the best I’ve ever had — so fresh and flavorful. And then donuts?! Unreal. They’re light, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweet. The staff was super friendly, and the whole vibe of the place was great. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area!

My bf and I come to Saratoga at least once a year and this place is always a priority stop for us. Typically we get the mini donuts which are absolutely fantastic and I love that there are always different flavors when we come, our go-to favorite is the fruity pebbles flavor, but we haven’t had a flavor we didn’t enjoy. On our last trip we went on their birria Wednesday and they were definitely one of the top birria tacos I have had! I will say the meat and consomme could benefit from some extra seasonings but nonetheless I would get them again! The staff is always very friendly and helpful! Can’t wait for our next visit!!

Innovative idea for a restaurant. The people who run this place seem to take their jobs seriously and put a lot of effort into what they do & it shows. Service was speedy. Had the cauliflower bowl and it was delightful. I was super excited about the pickled onions and they added just the right amount of zip. Me partner had the mahi mahi bowl and said it was good. Their mini donuts are made fresh & come in a tray of six. We tried both the strawberry lemonade and the blueberry hibiscus vanilla & they are probably the best I’ve ever had. I’m especially fond of the strawberry lemonade as it was just a little tangy the first bite. This is a must visit type of place for a quick bite.

Stumbled upon this place accidently. What a great surprise. Ordered a Korean pork taco. Loaded with meat, grease dripping down my hand. That’s how you know it’s a good taco, when there’s grease everywhere.
The fruity pebbles donuts are better than the actual cereal. Maple bacon donuts remind me of a pancake breakfast.

I love it here! I stop by every time I’m in Saratoga- during and festival I attend in Saratoga and anytime we’re just driving through. The Korean pork taco with kimchi, gochujang crema and scallions is my favorite taco ever SO GOOD. Great horchata and love the mini donuts. Great place!

If you like donuts and taco’s you’ll love this place. They make the donuts fresh to order on their conveyer belt machine, and then add a crazy amount of toppings.
In order to get a solid impression I got one of each of the 6 taco’s they have on their menu. I thought they were all good. The one with mahi mahi was much wetter/messier than others. The pork ones I thought stood out as more delish for me, however others I went choose other taco’s as their top. Goes to show that these are all top of the line taco’s, just choose the one that you’ll prefer!
