Stopped by here for some dessert and was not disappointed!
2 Taikyaki for $5… I’m on it. I got one nutella and one oreo.
My wife had some kind of upside down ice cream deal.
She also got the strawberry milk. She asked if it was like the Hokkaido strawberry milk I’ve had (I’m a Japanophile and been to Japan a lot of times). I personally don’t compare because a lot of stuff I’ve had in Japan were regional or regional specialties (Hokkaido Milk being one of them).
Nonetheless, I enjoyed the taste as it was.
Price was good.
Staff were super nice.
A lot of standing tables (no seats)
No bathroom there, but nearby (if its not closed).
In a nice downtown-ish area.

Its a good spot to go for late night cravings. The Ice cream flavors are very good and are in the perfect spot of sweetness. The Taiyaki is superrrr good and delicious. Love the spot and crew at this location.

This is my favorite Somi Somi ever! I’ve never had a bad experience here, Customer Service is always top-notch! I just discovered the other entrances to this place today. Video and pictures to come…..
I got Cookies & Cream and Matcha Swirl today. With Oreo dust and a Strawberry. I noticed the Cocoa Pebbles after, they were generous and gave it to me on the side. The fish was super crunchy! Delicious!Not pictured, the seating area outside.

Somi Somi! You can never go wrong with ice cream, especiallyyy with a waffle filled with your favorite filling! It’s a perfect serving too, just enough for that sweet tooth craving. They have an outdoor area shared with the rest of the building as well. A beautiful vibe. If you want a small sweet treat, Somi Somi is the place !

Delicious and smooth! The fishy taste great. Portions are big enough to please your sweet tooth. The Marcha flavor was inedible good. They let you add on a small topping (like the tiny macaroon) for free. Grab an extra spoon and take a bite of your friend’s. I would recommend for a tasty stop. They don’t have seating inside, but there are benches and area outside of the shop. Neat place to walk around with your fishy ice cream cup!

First time with the kids here! We came in thinking it would be extremely busy since it was hot and being that it’s located in DTF but to our surprise there was not too many customers. The welcomed us with a smile, the young lady who help us was very patient with since we were very indecisive on what we wanted to get. She made a couple suggestions which we took being it was out first time. My daughter got the milk flavor with the nutella filled ah-boongs, my son got cookies and cream with oreo cookie powder and I chose cookies and cream with chocolate pebbles and nutella filled ah-boongs. If they look good on the photos the taste is much better and also the service was great! If you’re in Fullerton I highly recommend this place. We left very happy from our experience.

The craze is real!!! The soft fluffy “cone” fish concept is delicious and something you can actually see yourself eating to the finish; it’s a fluffy waffle that holds consistent through each bite.
The soft serve is indeed creamy and offers flavors a bunch….my favorite has to be the purple (ube) flavor. Honestly, the Ube doesn’t even need toppings to complete it.
Laid back vibe outside allows for you to sit nicely off of Wilshire & Harbor for some time with others (very relaxing). You will need to park and walk though, so be mindful of that on your way over.

Very yummy treat for a kid with nut allergies. Appreciate that they had things labeled for nuts. We were able to enjoy the soft serve. My son was so happy that he could pick and choose flavors for the first time. The staff changed gloves. Thank you SomiSomi for being so accommodating. You made a little boy so happy!

This is a very nice Japanese dessert shop that has great-tasting soft serve with fish waffle. You can get different kinds of soft serve, filling of the fish waffle, and the orientation of the whole thing! They all taste great! There are also some seats behind the shop in a cute place, so you can sit down with friends and family and enjoy your ice cream. If you’re in Fullerton, check this place out! Their ice creams are delicious and the presentation of them is very cute.
