Long overdue review: Our family favorite and go-to dinner spot every time. Luigi’s Pizza always delivers amazing brick oven pizza, fresh, flavorful, and just can’t be beat. The staff treats us like family, and being a three-generation family-run business, it truly feels like home.
We ordered for our Super Bowl (game day demand is real!), our pizza wasn’t ready at the promised time, but always worth the wait and was phenomenal. Everyone raved about it!

The pizza was good. I ordered the combo on thin crust, I requested it to be cooked well done, they said ok. However it was not cooked well done. I had to add a few slices at a time to my air fryer to make them well done. Not sure if I will return.

Luigi’s Pizza isn’t just a spot to grab food — Its a wonderful family’s story. I’ve been eating here since the days pops used to sell Luigi’s pizza on the street. Back then it already hit different… real hometown flavor, real community love.
As life moved forward and I built my own family and household, Luigi’s became our pizza spot. From scraping by and paying with EBT back in the day to now feeding a whole household, this place has been a constant. It’s more than pizza — it’s tradition.
And the wings? Forget about it. Shoutout to John (RIP) for always double-cooking my wings — crispy, perfect, every single time. So many good memories tied to this place. Dinners, late nights, game days, random family cravings — all connected to Luigi’s.

The Manly meat lovers pizza was amazing. All the meat had great flavor, plenty of cheese, and the sauce was delicious with its own distinct flavor. The stuffed crust was good and crispy, too.
The Italian Hawaiian spice was also good, but the pineapple could have benefited from more flavor. The little flavor it did have still created a nice balance with the jalapeños.
The owner was nice, welcoming, and a great conversationalist. She is also very serious about making sure the ingredients are fresh. Luigis has been a part of Modesto for 28 years now, a staple, and still going strong. It was a nice birthday gift to myself.

Pizza was amazing!! Has that authentic pizzeria taste. Definitely a gem. The cheese garlic jalapeño stuffed bread is really good. I enjoyed the pepperoni pizza and combo!

I just ordered the garlic butter pan pizza Personal size. It was AMAZING!! first time getting food here. Atmosphere is fun and lighthearted. It’s sometimes hot in there, but that’s because of their awesome old fashioned brick oven!!! Pizza was great! The cheese holds your toppings on!! I had no topping fall off at all!! And none of the flavors were too over powering! It was all a perfect amount of topping, cheese, and sauce!! So delectable!! I will definitely be returning here to try other things on their menu!!! It may be a 25 min wait or so but that’s because they make your pizza fresh right there!! I wish I took a picture to add!!!

All I can say is their pizzas are a straight 10 out of 10.
The stuff I usually order are their triple pepperoni pizzas and they are delicious. I also had their normal pizza which are also amazing as well.
Although the stuff they are a bit pricey but considering on what you’re getting and the time and love they put in to making the pizzas, I can definitely say they’re worth the price of 20 dollars or more.
I know they have other stuff that are also good from what I’ve heard so I’ll definitely check them out eventually.
So yeah all in all, definitely 10 out of 10.

We get this pizza on our way up and on our way back from Oakley to Turlock and having to drive over an hour home back is torture, lol. The meat lovers pizza is the best and so worth the wait.

Extremely friendly staff! I ordered a 14″ pan pizza along with an order of cheese balls. I almost passed on the cheese balls but DON’T they are truly a side you must order here. Food was ready within 20min and it was 10min before closing! The dough is very unique and you can smell it as soon as you walk in it is a small location but does a few tables to dine in.
