Really good food and service. We tried all 3 of the spicy appetizer dishes and they were excellent. The edamame sauce was crazy good. One of our fri nds saved it for later dipping with his sushi rolls. The sushi rolls were very tasty and prices were extremely reasonable. The kids enjoyed the ramen and garlic noodles as well.

I came in by myself, ordered a Karai roll to go. The staff were attentive and polite. I gave my mobile number in case I wanted to walk out while waiting for the order to be filled- but decided to sit in their very comfortable bench seating at the entry waiting area. I saw the young man come to the take out area with a bag with a small item and approached him before he had a chance to put it on the to-go table. He saw me walking toward him and asked my name. I took the bag and drove a short distance home. I was hungry and was really looking forward to sushi. I took a bite and noticed the tempura shrimp was scant. Where it did appear in the roll-the diameter was the size of a pencil. The tuna had little flavor, lots of rice, and unfortunately, my favorite part-Salmon, had a weird texture. It was reasonably priced but I threw it all in the trash-so that is not as economical when you just throw $14.00 in the trash.

Great sushi place in Brentwood! Arrived at about 7pm and waited about 30-35 mins. Ordered the Brentwood’s finest, salmon skin roll, Misaka roll and sashimi. I liked the friend onion rings that came with the Brentwood special. The salmon skin roll had a good crunch to it. All the food we ordered was delicious. Sashimi was fresh. Decent price for sushi. Restaurant is big with lots of tables. Also has a bar area where you can sit and eat at. It is pretty loud inside. Lots of parking.

Not a good authentic sushi place.
Our group got FOOD POISONING from the sashimi here. Their fish is not as fresh as they say or at least not as clean
With sashimi they only serve regular white rice instead of sushi rice. When getting a refill for tea, they kept the same tea bag in the pot and only added hot water.
I do not recommend going here

Came here for my birthday and was really disappointed. The food came out at very separate times—not just a minute or two apart, but 10–15 minutes. We ended up sitting at the table waiting for everyone’s food while what we already had got cold. Even asking for napkins took over 15 minutes. I’ve always loved this place, and the owner is incredibly nice, friendly, and welcoming, but this experience really put a damper on my birthday.

Great spot for Japanese cuisine, but on Fridays and Saturdays don’t go there looking for sushi and expect to get it right away. Those sushi chefs be busy busy busy, so take into consideration that it’s gonna be a minute.
Always love their rolls here, always fresh and tasty. The Scallops and shrimp ramen is always great, shrimp is always bouncy so as the scallops. Get the broth spicy !!

We came here to get some Ramen but the menu was really good so we all got something different and shared. I got Ramen miso spicy and it was delicious. We also got the pork chop and it was Hella good and flavorful. We ordered the beef fried rice and we have found our new spot for great fried rice. I highly recommend this place.
