Nice cafe, got my order for pick up. Burger was delicious as were the fries (perfectly seasoned) . Will definitely return. Again ordered, this time door dash, Wisconsin jambalaya was excellent, whole ingredients and good flavor. Haven’t had the pie yet but have no doubt from the looks it is worthy. Good job kitchen!

We came here on New Year’s Day for their brunch and really enjoyed our food. I got their herbivore scramble with added bacon. I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the veggies and felt everything was well cooked and delicious. I love their thick cut sourdough toast and orange juice as well. My husband ordered their pancakes with their homemade strawberry sauce (which was also phenomenal). My kids enjoyed their pancake and French toast breakfast. Overall this is a great little spot.

I love this place so much. It has a great atmosphere with art in the walls. I have not been able to have breakfast yet but every dinner item has been great. They have cocktails too if you like to enjoy a drink with dinner. You can sit at table, booth, or the counter where you can even watch the food being prepared. There is an outside patio area too for dining.

Stopped in for lunch on a Monday around 12:30. Immediate seating was available at the counter, but all tables were full. Server was great. Personable and knowledgeable and made sure we enjoyed our experience. Food and drink were fantastic. The Brussels sprouts app was SO good and so were all three sandwiches. We had chicken, beef and fish and all were amazing. Would definitely recommend and will stop again next time we’re in town!

Tuesday night at the Westsider diner is “girls night” but Wausau doesn’t know it yet, with a female chef and female bartender, tunes were playing and we were all trying to keep up, “When the lights go down in the citaaaay” it was nothing short of a ton of fun. Obviously there’s other genders that work here, so if you come on a Wednesday you may see one. Let’s move on to the cuisine. Lobster roll as a special? – it was fantastic. Real lobster! Damn it was great! You’d be a fool not to come and try it. On tap they have a some great options, but what’s important to note you can get your spotted cow. Iykyk. Lastly they got pie what’s not to like. Some say this is the best spot to get a margarita. Hint hint. For atmosphere, you got local artists’ work strewn about, and it’s for sale. Click save like and subscribe; this is a “best of” location for the Wausau area.

Very cute, well-decorated bar/restaurant with high wood ceilings, bar-side grill, cool light fixtures, and a decent menu. Had a great mushroom-swiss beef patty melt and my husband had a tasty steak sandwich with an adequate portion of very good onion rings for $2 extra. Their fries are shoestring potatoes so don’t ask for them crispy. We had a small, unremarkable (but not sickly sweet) piece of blueberry pie.
We didn’t see tables for more than 4 people, just tables & booths for 4 & the bar. There is a covered outdoor dining space in the back.
We had good service, even though no one was particularly friendly. It was a decent experience, and we would definitely try it again.

Great atmosphere in this little eatery with some really cool old school vibes. The exposed brick wall matches well with the great selection of true oldies tunes playing. The breakfast we had was superb… taste and quality very good! Service was good!
