Blech! Worst food I have ever had. I ordered chicken fried rice and beef with broccoli. They both tasted exactly the same, like smoked salt. Smoke flavor and salt flavor. The beef was spongy like it was pureed into a bubbly foam and then solidified. Oddly enough, so was the chicken.
The picture on the left is actual chicken fried rice. The picture on the right is what I got from China King. It was dark yellowish brown and had a lot of slimy onions and spongy chicken. No peas. No carrots. No scrambled eggs.
The place is also filthy inside. An absolute dump. I couldn’t eat more than a couple bites and I had to throw this slop out. Just look at it. Blech!

I will never eat there again. The first picture is what the chicken pineapple fried rice was supposed to be. The second picture is what I received. It was sticky white rice with about 6 edamame beans, unseasoned sliced chicken and coconut milk. Waste of my money. If you get food from there, make sure you check it before you leave the restaurant.

Quick service. Reasonable pricing. Great portions in the combo platters. They look small but when you take it out the container, you see there’s more. Only drawback is self service on the utensils and sauces.

This is my go to Chinese place. I’ve been coming here for about seven years and in those seven years I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience. The staff is extremely friendly, the food is excellent, and if I’m being honest I can’t eat at other Chinese places because I’m always comparing it to here.
Whatever you typically get a Chinese place you’ll find here. Which is by no means a knock against them, the food is fantastic!
I will give a heads up that there is no dining area inside but eating some Chinese food on the sidewalk with some friends is a peak experience.

I didn’t give a good report for atmosphere because I don’t eat in t there. I use them for medicinal purposes. Their hot and sour soup will cure a cold in no time. It will clear your head immediately!!!!!

I got sesame chicken combo and lemonade. It was all good. I also got the 8 for $5 lemon pepper wings … I can see what the other reviewers mean by that women’s attitude. I don’t believe she has an attitude though. I think it’s just her personality. Fortunately, I don’t really care about that….. just the food. Minus one star because my sesame didn’t have enough chicken inside. I’ll try this place again though.

I order from this Chinese food restaurant all the time. My favorite is the General Tso Chicken combo.
Today I ordered the small shrimp fried rice add crab meat. Very yummy !!! I ordered fried scallops separate and added it to the plate.
There is no dine in option. Ordering to go is fast with good service from staff.
Highly recommend this restaurant!!!

I go for there for the shrimp fried rice. It’s as close to brown shrimp, fried rice, as I can find here in newport news so far. It always seems fresh and tastes that way as well.

Tried them for the first time tonight and it was delicious. Service was friendly and it came out so quickly. I had the chicken and broccoli and my husband had the general tso’s chicken. They do not have seating its not an eat in kind of restaurant but I highly recommend it.
