Oof, I hate writing bad reviews, but this place was very disappointing. I ordered takeout, and a simple order, at that. But when an Indian place messes up naan and samosa, there is a bigger problem. I’m glad I didn’t get a curry dish. The samosa and naan were just terrible. Not sure if they stuffed them with uncooked onion or potato, but either way, they were uncooked. The texture of the fillings was terrible. It actually disgusted me and ruined my appetite.

Absolutely delicious! I’m house sitting in Firestone tonight and decided to treat myself by ordering some takeout. Since there aren’t too many restaurants up here Everest Maya caught my eye; I took a chance on them and they did not disappoint!
I ordered veg samosas, aloo naan, and chicken korma; masala chai was my beverage choice. Big disclaimer: I am completely intolerant of hot/spicy stuff but I LOVE the strong flavors of Indian food. I thoroughly enjoyed every dish and found it all to be quite flavorful.
The men who greeted me at the door were very friendly and polite and I was pleasantly surprised when they gave me a small sample-sized container of what I assume must have been kheer (gratis) – it was delightful! Thank you for that! It was light and not too sweet, perfect for an after dinner treat.
The samosas were fantastic and crispy but just a touch too salty on the outside.
I mixed the aloo naan with bites of chicken korma/basmati rice and was immediately transported to heaven! I’m telling you, the food is outstanding. I’m sad I don’t live up this way anymore because I would eat here more often.
The chai was nice and rich with just a hint of sweetness – I actually added a small squeeze of honey because it was my dessert 🙂

Great food! I got shrimp saag and my co-diner got chicken tiki masala + garlic naan and we were both very happy with the quality of the food! Complimentary appetizers of a “cracker” with dipping sauces and rice pudding for dessert. Ambience is nice as well.

Awesome food and wonderful service! I travel often for work and make a point to try the local Tikka Masala in every city I visit. So it is with much data that I declare Everest Maya to have the BEST Tikka Masala I have ever had! And honestly, probably the best Naan as well, but it is harder to be sure since I do find good Naan often. The folks working here are so kind and happy as well – it is a very inviting place. When you are looking for great Indian food, give Everest Maya a try – you will be amazed!

I had the chicken korma, plain naan and a mango lassi. All in all the food was good. I found it a little under seasoned, but what do I expect in the burbs of Colorado. Overall, I’d say, if your trying Indian food for the first time, this is a great place to start. If you have an established palette for Indian food, it might be a little soft for you.

I didn’t know about this restaurant until a friend of mine suggested we meet there for lunch. This restaurant is new (it used to be a Mexican restaurant). I enjoyed everything this place had to offer. The service was extremely friendly, fast and attentive. The atmosphere was very nice and relaxing.
Food: I found it to be authentic Indian. They also had Nepalese dishes but didn’t try them at this visit. One treasure I discovered was ‘Meat Samosa’. Many Indian restaurants offer Samosa but they’ve always been vegetarian. It was refreshing to enjoy this (wonderful fried treat) samosa stuffed with meat! My friend and I had Tandoori Chicken and Tandoori Fish. Wow! I was truly impressed with the taste as well as the presentation! It comes to your table on a sizzling cast-iron platter! Definitely a creative ‘spin’ on an ordinary Tandoori dish! Their Naan was absolutely fantastic as well! Only constructive feedback would be on the Chicken Biryani (was sparse on chicken). Nevertheless it was tasty and good.
It is hard to find good authentic Nepalese and Indian cuisine in Longmont/Firestone area (besides Gurkha’s and Durba’s). This place has potential and I consider it a great find — thanks to my friend who suggested us meeting here! I liked the experience so much that the following day,, i brought my family here to experience this restaurant! You must try this place. I don’t think you’ll regret your decision.
