I’ve seen some of the other reviews and I don’t know where the disconnect was! My husband and I stopped in for lunch and it was such a mistake… The bathrooms were gross, none of the stalls locked and the one I chose didn’t have toilet paper. We had 3 different servers and none of our orders were correct. Small examples: He wanted a chicken burrito, but got Luke warm ground beef, smothered in sauce.. Probably to try and hide their error. I asked for a plain grilled chicken and cheese quesadilla with a small side of fries and got a large side of rice with peppers inside none of the drinks are made by hand, but poured out of a super sweetend large pre made jug (at least the margaritas were!)

I’m not one to post reviews, but I have to say this is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Hernando, for the price and taste. I’ve only been here for about a month, but I’ve tried every restaurant. This is a definite go to of mine at least once a week, for lunch especially. I’ve never had a bad experience or slow service and highly recommend this to anyone that loves authentic Mexican food or Texmex style!

Food is excellent, service is great. Only thing that was negative during my last visit which was on a Thursday night was the language barrier with the server. She didn’t speak or really understand English . There was someone who had to help and still it wasn’t exactly what we had asked for.
I have been 3 times so far and the visits during lunch times there are different servers who have no difficulty understanding what you are ordering and giving you what you ask for.

Stellar food! Traveling through town and just stopped in on a gut feeling, pun intended; ordered without any expectations…I got the food to go; wow, 3x chimichanga meal was bussin! Steak was soft and Smokey; grilled chicken same; shrimp done right; chips and salsa very fresh and well made. The restaurant itself in decor is simple, but if you like to eat, don’t pass up this hidden gem. I interacted with 3 staff members and they were all extremely friendly and professional. America, this is what I’m talking about!

It was okay this time. Not good but not bad. The service was very bad though. I ordered a single chicken taco and it took like a good 10 minutes for one simple taco to be delivered. But other than that it was good.
