First off, this restaurant has a smoking section that’s separated from the non-smoking section by nothing. If that’s going to bother you then this isn’t the place for you. It didn’t bother me so I tried the Country Fried Steak with green beans and fried green tomatoes. It came out quick, fresh, and hot. It is in the top five of all the country fried steak I’ve tried in 30 years. The green beans were really good and so were the fried green tomatoes. That, a cornbread muffin and an Iced Tea, and great service, and it was like $15 with tip. Where I’m from you can’t get a Big Mac meal for that.

the food was really greasy had heartburn all day from it. I’m not a smoker and the place smelled of smoke. Had to wait over 25 minutes just for someone to come over and take my order luckily i was ahead of schedule by 2 hours, now I’m gonna be a bit late. The staff was rude to everyone except the regular people who just sit smoke and drink coffee. I will not refer any one to eat here. Afraid to see what it would be at lunch or dinner time. Thank God I was only passing thru in my truck. Next time I pass thru that town I will not stop at all, my fellow truckers say the police are just as bad so follow the speed limit very close.

The food is delicious and the staff is friendly. One of the cleanest restaurants I’ve ever been in, even with the smoking section. Definitely one of those places you’ll find yourself going back to time and time again.

It’s very rare that you get to write or view like this, this restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The food was a 20 out of 10 the service was equally as good and I will tell you that the fried green tomatoes are the best I’ve ever had. I can’t even imagine how well they cook them, The Cajun catfish was out of this world, and even hush puppies, which I don’t care for were fantastic.
Highly recommend this restaurant to anybody in the area even if it’s worth driving a distance to come here.

Fantastic! I had the best BLT with fried okra. Husband had country fried steak with 3 sides. All of it was delicious! Waitress made good suggestions, food came out quickly, we even met the cook. Wish we lived closer than 4 hours away cause we’d be back frequently.

Happened to pass by yesterday when we were getting hungry. So we stopped in for a late lunch. Everything was great. I had country fried steak, mashed potatoes with gravy, mac and cheese and cream corn. My husband had Italian pork chops, mashed potatoes with gravy, turnip greens and green beans.. our service was good. They were very busy, but we didn’t have to wait long for our food to come out.. everything was fresh, warm and delicious! Glad we decided to stop in.

I got here at 11:30am I just finished my meal at 12:04pm. So the service was really good especially since they only have one person waiting tables. The food was pretty good this will definitely be the place I got to lunch everyday. I noticed nobody at work has recommended the place. The only thing I can think of is there is smoking. It’s not like there are very many people smoking so it doesn’t bother me. I even sat in the smoking section no issue.i had the hot wings which had alot of sauce more than I would like but it was good and I would order that again. I also got a burger and they serve breakfast all day so I was able to get a fried egg on it as well which was nice. The burger was better than average it was good they fries were so so not bad. I plan to take pictures of my food to post on here next time. There are not many options in this area but I would say this is the best. Also the staff was very friendly.
