We started with the Greek Fries — crispy fries topped with melted Feta cheese and a dash of Greek seasonings. These fries were a great change-up, embodying the zest of Greek cuisine, but slightly too heavy with Feta for my personal preference.
The Calamari followed suit, tender and perfectly fried, capturing the essence of the Aegean Sea. It was a reminder that simplicity can easily take center stage. The Moussaka, with its rich layers of eggplant, seasoned ground beef, and potatoes, all beautifully topped with a decadent béchamel sauce, was a hearty nod to the depth and complexity of Greek culinary tradition, comfort food that warms the soul.
In the realm of sandwiches, the Lamb-Beef Gyro was a hero, combining succulent ground lamb-beef gyro with fresh tomatoes, onions, and fries, all wrapped in a soft pita and generously smeared with spicy tzatziki sauce. It was a harmonious blend of textures and flavors with a tiny kick of heat, showcasing the art of the perfect gyro.
The skewers, both Chicken and Shrimp, offered a lighter yet equally satisfying option. Served with all the fixings–pita bread, tzatziki sauce, fresh tomatoes, onions, a crisp Greek salad, and fries–these skewers were a testament to the versatility and freshness that Greek cuisine is known for.
While our experience at Eat Greek was through the lens of takeout, the quality and flavor of the food transported us to a sunny Grecian patio in spirit. The restaurant’s commitment to delivering tasty and quickly prepared meals underscores the essence of true Greek hospitality, even from afar.
Overall, for those seeking a taste of Greece served with both warmth and efficiency, Eat Greek is a journey worth taking, promising satisfaction and a touch of Mediterranean sunshine with every order.
The Greek fries, feta dip, and gyros are out of this world.
Incredible take out but do yourself a favor and eat in in their dining area in the back! They have water, glasses, and condiments for self serve.
Truly delicious. Makes you feel good and incredible value!
Having recently been to Greece, I can attest to this food being spot on authentic! We got the gyros (chicken and lamb) as well as a personal fave – Dolmadas! Mmmm… thank you Eat Greek! Will come again!
Greek and Lamb Gyros were delicious (we ordered the fries on the side rather than in it). A different kind of tatziki than I’ve had, it had a little spice to it, but it was delicious. The pita was perfectly crisped on the outside. The gyros were loaded with meat was so much I had to take some off to be able to bite it, but they were delicious. Surprisingly, the fries were tasty too. Not just a plain french fry.
The baklava was pretty good. Not too sweet and perfectly cooked.
