Reviews
The club sandwich was excellent, easily top-tier for this style of deli. High-quality meats, a perfect bread-to-filling ratio, and bread that actually adds character instead of just holding things together. The stuffed baked potato is also a standout—hearty, flavorful, and well-executed. We tried the ham and cheese melt, which impressed for an unexpected reason: the tomato slice was thin enough to complement the sandwich rather than overpower it, a detail that shows real care in preparation.
The broccoli cheddar soup was rich and satisfying, the red beans and rice had a noticeable smoked sausage flavor, and while the potato salad leaned a bit bland, a dash of pepper or hot sauce fixed it easily. Finish with the carrot cake—excellent cream cheese icing and great texture. Overall, this location nails both food quality and service. I’d absolutely eat here again.
It had been years since we had been to McAlister’s. We have always liked it, but we just don’t live in that area of town. We went there on a whim because neither of us were craving anything in particular. We went in and grabbed a paper menu at the front. We sat down to look at it. A couple of minutes later a very friendly staff member came by and asked if we had any questions. She told us the most popular options. I ended up ordering the “Choose 2”. I didn’t know which sandwich I wanted so I got two with completely different flavor profiles. They were both delicious! I honestly couldn’t pick a favorite and would get them both together again. Both were sauced well and had depth of flavor. Even though McAlister’s is across down, I have thought about going back because they were so good. Tables were all clean and staff was friendly. No negatives.
Previous Post/Previous Location: I ordered from this location for delivery. The ordered arrived well before the quoted time. I appreciated that the soup was wrapped so it would not spill. They did not skimp on the sandwich toppings and it was very flavorful. Negative was the high cost with additional fees and they forgot the pickle that was supposed to come with the meal.
