My review is based on two dining experiences. They have excellent food and excellent service. I’m sure their are times they are slammed when it’s not as quick as some would like but you have to be a bit empathetic to certain situations given the circumstances. This place has great ambiance and draw of feeling like a tiki-like experience on the back patio but I think they do a good job with the props, lighting and music to create the aura. Props to Mary who makes a mean taco salad and has a great personality and eclectic sense of taste and style…we were pleased with her service and conversation. Will return time and time again

The atmosphere there was great! The place wasn’t very busy so the employees let us walk around and find ourselves a table, and even let us go outside despite it being rainy. The rest of my party didn’t get there until a lot later and our waitress didn’t seem to mind at all. I eventually ordered and had the steak salad. It was good, but not seasoned like the other steak salad I’ve had. I definitely recommend the fries.

We had 8 outside on the immense patio with comfy seating and just a nice atmosphere. Many got the lobster special, Wednesdays, 2 tails for & 18. Fresh cut fries had a tangy subtle peppery flavor that makes you want more. Server was excellent, attentive and friendly. Our second time back in 2 weeks.

We go here several times each year. Things seem to get worse each time. The setting is awesome. The service was very slow. Getting a drink took forever. The food was okay; my sandwich was missing ingredients listed on the menu, and was dry. The prices are a bit high for what you get. Skip the Bucket drinks; $12 for a normal drink thrown in a small bucket of ice. And, the upcharge for the small offering of fries is ridiculous, since over half of my plate was chips. We like this place, more so for the environment than anything else. I hope they can get their act together and get back to quality service and food again!

Been here many times and always loved it. Still like it but not as pleasant an experience today. Food was good but it was a very limited menu supposedly due to Covid. Hostess tells everyone 30-45 minute wait although we did get seated in 10 minutes. Many tables available but people not being seated. We asked waitress why people weren’t being seated and she said someone called out today which sounded strange as many many tables empty and people just waiting to be seated. Saw many just leave instead of waiting. It isn’t a distancing issue as tables are set apart appropriately so they’re losing a lot of business by not seating people. If my restaurant I would have more staff, people getting seated, and a little more menu options

Used to love this place. We only get here 3 or 4 times a year. We just went for the first time this year and were incredibly disappointed. Firstly there was a band playing and when we got there they told us they couldn’t guarantee or promise a wait time despite the fact that there were literally a dozen empty tables.
After we got seated we found out that their menu changed from last year and it felt like it was half the size, and what was left was what felt like a lot of over priced seafood. The new menu made it hard to find a selection.
The food was lackluster. The fries were like rubber. That goes for the entire party. I had the Santa Fe wrap, and someone else in my party did too. His wrap had almost nothing in it besides wilted lettuce. We paid a good amount of money for food we didn’t enjoy.
We know that at least 2 other tables had similar issues around us. The waitress was awesome about the situation but the manager was awful. We told him about the bad food and issues with the menu and he asked if we wanted new wraps or fries. We told him no. He brought us another plate of fries anyway which we didn’t eat because we were done.
I am very disappointed. We drove over an hour to get here. We treated this place like a special occasion type of place. We all agree that we don’t know if we’ll come back and that’s very upsetting.

Went here for my first time for a night out and it wasn’t good at all. There was no bouncer at the door so nobody and nothing was checked. If you are not a regular or do not know the bartenders you’ll be waiting at the bar a little while and people that come after you will be served first. People were snorting coke in the men’s bathroom and were offering it to people they didn’t even know (One of the guys I was there with). I was a bartender so I always watch how my drinks are made and almost all of mine were under poured. Lastly I was charged almost $20 extra for drinks I didn’t get because I had a tab open. Unfortunately I didn’t realize the mistake until after I closed out. (Either close out every time you order or if you have a tab check your bill before closing) The place is nice however it’s open lots of tables and chairs, games, a dj and the decor are great but as far as service and the crowd it’s pretty bad. The only good thing was cricket the bar manager who cleared up the bill situation and credited me for next time. He was very kind and patient and I truly appreciated that. The bartender with the cool mustache was also nice and helpful but the other bartenders not so much the girl bartender had an attitude and was just not pleasant unless someone came up that she knew.

I love the atmosphere here. It’s like a Tiki bar on top of Mt Penn. I like to come here in the Summer time for a nice relaxing evening.
Ive been coming here for the last few years to celebrate a Summer birthday. The food this past time was decent. I wish they would bring back the buckets of fries they had in years past. The beers on tap seems to change…which is a good thing. I tried a few and ended up settling in a Guinness. The waitresses were really nice this past visit. Cheers!
