Amazing Friday Lunch Thali – Fried Rice, chapathi, kurma, spinach dall, potato, sambar , rasam, white rice, pickle, white rice, tamarind gravy, kesari desert , papad. Excellent flavors.. Also , Too Much Food for 17$. Pics below .

Excellent TO GO South Indian Food. The following, which is a breakfast platter of Idli, Vada, Pongal and Sweet + Sambar , Coconut chutney, Spicy tomato chutney is ONLY 9$. Excellent and Consistant Quality Everytime I go there.
The Coconut chutney was so fresh that I ate that before taking the picture… MUST TRY

This is my first time trying HSB in the NOVA region, and I thought the place delivered to some extent. I tried the medu vada, kothu parotta, parotta kurma , and urundai curry. Except Urundai curry (which is a South Indian delicacy), all other dishes were spot on. The vadas were soft, crispy, and delicious. The sambar was bit on the daal consistency and lacked tang, but decent. Of all the items, parotta kurma was the definitely the best, and I recommend it.
Overall, if you are craving for South Indian comfort vegetarian food, I recommend HSB.

Food was good, server had knowledge on food menu, She was the only one taking orders and brining food. I love dosa it was done well. Customer service is non existent in most South Indian restaurants. Maybe it’s cultural.

UPDATED: must also try puri and aalu curry… terrific, puri is so clean, not oily or greasy.
Superb taste, not expensive and very friendly staff. Please try sambar vada it was awesome. This place has carry out only and located inside lotte place. I was surprised by the taste, it was simple amazing. I will go there again in the weekend.

Food is great at Sai Sarvana Bhavan. Curries are made fresh, really tasty and have always been consistent. I’ve seen different options of veg curries at this place compared to others in Virginia. Although the restaurant does not offer dine in, I’d highly recommend this place to try out.
