It has a lot of potential to be a fun roadside hangout spot. It is located in a very small town so mostly frequented by the same locals daily, which is both it’s upside and it’s downside in my eyes. On the one hand if you are local this place could very comfy, relaxing and could feel like home away from home. However, on the other hand if you are not a local))k⁶( like myself, it very much has the opposite feeling, it’s like you are an outsider which in turn made me anxious and ready to leave after only just 10 short minutes. Thankfully, there is a video slot machine room that provided so.e distraction.

Historic turn of the century remodeled tavern with great backyard area for summer months to relax outside. Ashley our bartender and server was phenomenal Just a great upbeat personality.
We had fish and chips and one double padded cheeseburger. I highly recommend both.
The fish and chips were amazing. The fish pieces were hand-breaded large cod pieces really good and very good. Tartar sauce to go with fries were good for the double burger. We had tots and they were amazing. Nothing special but just the way a Tot should be.
Stop in or get some food to go. You won’t be disappointed.

Our bartender was the sweetest! Came in for Monday Night Football and was thrilled that they had 1/2 price appetizers during the game! Solid draft list and dinner.

This is a good bar would be better if there was ever more than five people here ever.

Had to ask for a menu 10 min after sitting, was told it would be about ten minutes because the grille had been turned off,.. ok.. 53 minutes later, we got our order with an apology.No explanation had ordered a side salad, but it came with the meal.Not before… big disappointed had always love this place before.

We were dissapointed with the service here. Came in for a quick bite. Took 20 minutes of standing in line to get 2 drinks and our food ordered. Another 45 minutes goes by and people from behind us, in that linen, have their food. I walk up and ask the bartender who took our order whats going on. Our ticket is no where to be found and she needs a minute to look for it. There was maybe 10 people in the bar and 4 people behind the bar…not sure if two of them were even supposed to be back there, but they definitely were not helpful. So we left on empty stomachs.

We waited another 45 minutes without an order. Like anyone would do, we decided to see how long the order would be… The server completely lost our ticket and never put our order in.
Over an hour for a glass of water.
Garbage experience, won’t be back.

I was asked to paint the Gobal Tavern on a large rock, so I’m getting ready to bunker down and do that, or at least make an attempt. It’s all about finding the right rock, and that can take some time… …also making sure I have all the pictures I need to get the job done…
