My family usually loves Papa John’s, but the quality has really gone downhill—enough for me to finally write a review. First, all the specials are gone. Second, I paid $24 for a large specialty pizza with extra cheese, and there was barely any pizza sauce on it. Thank goodness I ordered a home delivery, because the pizza wasn’t even cut. I also tried the boneless chipotle chicken, and only a few pieces had any sauce at all. Was absolutely terrible! Overall, a very disappointing experience. I definitely will not be ordering again.

Papa John’s pizza used to be among one of the better ones for quality and service. Unfortunately, my last two experiences there have proved that both have gone down drastically. Pizza tastes like cardboard and service is subpar, often waiting at the drive through window for several minutes before someone acknowledges. There are certainly better options in town now. Will no longer do business with PJ.

I placed an order , I work from home I had a lunch break . The driver claimed to have called my cell 18 times . I stood outside did not see the driver outside my place . I ordered at 7:45pm i called back & forth it began to be 9:32pm the manager said they will remake the order it’s been almost 1 hour and a half . And I still did not get my pizza . I called multiple times about the issue the manager did zero to fix the issue. He claimed a new driver would come . My porch light was on as well .. poor management . Poor staff. Poor store ethics as a team completely. I never got my pizza.

Would give zero stars if possible. Picked up a pizza Friday night and got sick right after eating. Stayed sick (nausea and diarrhea) all weekend. It had a bad taste so luckily I didn’t eat much. I will never eat there again.

This location makes good pizzas and has never messed up on any of our orders. The have a drive through pickup window on the side which his handy, however there’s usually only 1 friendly employee on shift out of 8 or 10, and the inside usually looks like it everything needs a good scrubbing. There’s ample seating available on the inside, but the chairs, tables, and atmosphere are not comfortable or inviting. Updating the harsh florescent overhead lighting, adding some ambient music, and/or updating the seating arrangement and chairs would help quite a bit. Also, there’s no sign for the business from either of the two busy streets intersecting there (Cache Rd & Sheridan Rd) & the lights are mostly burnt out on their sign above the entrance door so it’s not the easiest to find if you’re new to the area unless you use Google maps. They are the only Papa John’s in town now, so I’ll definitely be going back. 🙂

Always a problem here in lawton. None of the pizzas were cut, no sauce or peppers that’s usually come with them either. Did they stop including those?. The cheese sticks weren’t cut either and the cheese was on the box not the sticks.
We literally only have this problem in lawton. Everywhere else Papa John’s has been great. Which is the only reason we still like them.

Service was good and the preparation was actually really fast for the time of day and week. But the food was simply not good. The pizza wasn’t really warm, and for a works pizza, there wasn’t much in it(reference picture). Very doughy and not much else. I get Papa John’s maybe 2x a month and this was my worst experience in while.

I gave 4 stars because of the circumstances being that Papa Johns (2112 Cache Rd. Lawton, Oklahoma) is only allowed to take phone orders and drive through due to CO VID19. I tried to get through on the phone but never did so we decided to use the drive thru. The young lady that helped us was friendly. We ordered the new papapelita(sp?). and waited at the window. A gentleman came to the window and asked my husbands name. He went to see about our order and came back with “its in the oven Could you park and I’ll bring it to you. We parked and was there waiting while four vehicles went through, got their order and left. I ended up walking back to the drive thru and asked about our order. The gentleman took my receipt, checked the hot table and handed me our order. In all fairness, they were pretty dog gone busy. We got home and the crust of both orders was just this side of being burned. It was tasty inside. Like I said. In all fairness they were really busy. And the filling tasted good. So will I try them again? You bet!! Actually I think papa johns is a good place and after things go back to normal it will be an excellent spot.
