This Starbucks on Fort Belvoir is absolutely gorgeous!
It’s incredibly spacious, with tons of seating options that make it perfect for working, studying, or meeting up with friends, family, or colleagues. In the center of the store, there’s a stunning long hardwood table that seats 8–10 people, giving it a warm and welcoming communal feel.
There are also several regular café-style tables, along with tall two-person bar tables (I think they’re called “high-top tables”), offering a great variety depending on what you’re looking for. Along the back wall, there’s a beautiful, vibrant mural with bright greens, reds, pinks, yellows, and whites, creating a lively, cheerful atmosphere. In front of the mural, there’s a row of cozy cushioned leather seating with small tables and nearby outlets, although one of the two outlets isn’t currently working, and it would be nice if more were added in the future.
One of my favorite spots is near the fireplace, where there are four rustic leather lounge chairs and a circle of six stylish octagonal coffee tables, creating the perfect cozy corner for relaxing with a drink. They even have a Fallen Soldier Memorial Table, which is such a touching tribute and a meaningful detail you don’t often see in cafés.
The location itself feels like a hidden gem. It’s nestled along a gorgeous, lush street that looks like a little downtown New England village. There are charming shops nearby, cobblestone pathways around and behind the plaza, and park benches surrounded by lush plants and flowers. If you want to sit outside, there’s plenty of outdoor seating too. Plus, there’s a giant parking lot just across the street for easy access.
The employees here are always so kind, not just to customers, but even to my little dog when I bring him by. Their friendliness and attention to detail really add to the welcoming atmosphere.
Overall, this Starbucks is such a lovely spot whether you’re looking to work, study, grab coffee with friends, or just enjoy a peaceful afternoon. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re nearby!

If you ever come to this Starbucks, you HAVE TO visit Ms.Loretta! She has the best customer service and will accommodate any special requests you might have. She is picking up the slack of the other workers there and deserves all the raises and bonuses. We only order when she is there! When we do rarely order when she is not there, there is always a long wait and the order is never right.

The barista took my order wrong (I know what I ordered, I get the same thing every time and literally cannot have coffee, so I ordered a chai drink) and was incredibly rude when asked for the correct drink. There’s no reason to be that rude when you made a simple mistake. The drink she gave me to replace it was literally the wrong one too. This was the worst experience I have had at a Starbucks.

This is the quietest with the least traffic – the perfect ambience – Starbucks in Fort Belvoir.
There are hardly any lines. Comfortable and spacious seating areas inside and outside.It is located in the town center by other outdoor shops in a very peaceful setting.
The staff are professional, amicable, and accommodating. They will make my drinks frozen with blended ice & sugar free for my preferences. Thursdays are always buy one get one free beverages.
The free Starbucks app provides you points and deals every week as well as chances to win free prizes. They scan your app code on your phone at all Starbucks.

I keep giving this place a chance once or twice a year and somehow it never goes well.
Placed a mobile order for breakfast sandwich at 7:17am and the app told me it’ll be ready 7:34am. The app showed in-progress at 7:45am and ready at 7:47am. The sandwich wasn’t actually done until 8:12am and that was after inquiring about the order. This store should disable the mobile order feature all together and focus on serving the people in person.

My experience at this location was ELITE!!! Cat and Antoine not only had patience for my very complicated request, they also had very helpful suggestions with seasonal items. The egg, pesto& mozzarella sandwich and summer-berry lemonade refresher was chefs . Everytime I work on base this is my go to; no questions asked.

Very friendly staff, they were out of some holiday drink ingredients but quickly made alternative drink suggestions and did not disappoint!
