The Conductor Club, presented by Pierpont’s at Union Station, is located on the third floor of historic Union Station and focuses on providing an elevated cocktail and spirit experience for its guests. Originating as a spirit tasting club amid 2020’s quarantine, The Conductor Club’s offerings have evolved into tastings, cocktail-making classes, holiday pop-ups, and a speakeasy cocktail bar.

Family recommended this place when we came to KC for Christmas. They have been about a dozen times and said we would enjoy it, and it was awesome. Food is from Pierponts, which is always good but the “Christmas Vacation” drinks were the star of the show!!! These were the best cocktails we have ever had! The drinks were perfectly balanced and had layers of flavor. Great little pop-up experience. Go, you won’t regret it.

I love The Conductor Club! I have been here for 4 different themes (Camp Crystal Lake, How The Conductor Club Stole Christmas, Jurassic Island, Home Alone) and have enjoyed every experience so far! This is our go-to pop-up bar and always look forward to seeing what theme they come out with next. The service has always been exceptional (even waiting a bit for our next drink has never bothered us because usually it is only 1-3 employees working the pop-up).
The drinks are always so good, and very strong. They kind of have a similar guideline each theme but we end up trying 4-6 drinks between the two of us each time. I love that they include standard size drinks, shots, and usually a punchbowl for two drink. They usually serve a cocktail from old themes too which is cool for people that may have missed out or really love that specific drink. I’ve gotten the chance to chat with some of the bartenders during these and they are just so fun to talk to. They really seem to enjoy their work and put real effort into the cocktail recipes.
We’ve eaten here almost every time we’ve come to a pop-up and love that you can get food from Pierpont’s. The food is definitely pricey but thankfully, everything has always been really delicious.
The décor for the most part has always been 10/10 for me as most of the evening my eyes are exploring every inch of the room looking for more fun details. I do hope they keep improving the themes/décor because not every single theme has been as good as others – but even the worst of the 4 I’ve been to was still high level!
Overall, I love The Conductor Club and it is one of my absolute favorite bars – definitely favorite pop-up bar. The drinks and food are on the more expensive side of things so these pop-ups to us are really a treat and something we do a few times a year only. I definitely think anyone that has interest in pop-up bars, themed bars, or anything similar should go here at least once and really enjoy everything offered. Also, yes there is a small reservation fee but considering they mention this goes to the Union Station Preservation Fund, I am more than happy to pay it.

This was a fun place to have great drinks. The theme was Goonies movie. We didn’t try food. Music was good. My mocktail was great.
We had 6 people for our reservations, all from out of town. It was disappointing to be sat at two booths separated by an isle. We sat toward front door. There is a group able in the back around the corner that was occupied.

We had a fantastic time at the conductor club during “Christmas Vacation” theme season. Great signature cocktails and bites, wonderfully witty wait and bar staff, and plenty of opportunities for photos. A great place to spend an xmas eve or any other night really.

Great service, welcoming, decor is great, drinks and good were perfect! Themed bars are the best! The conductor’s club is always changing themes and always fun crazy drinks to try. Their reservations go quickly so make sure to follow their social or email to get in early. Since they are located in Union Station is make for parking easy.

I’m only giving 3 stars because of where we were sat. All my girlfriends have been ranting about this place, so when I was finally able to get tickets for my husband and I, I was so excited! Until we got there and were literally sat by the door… felt like we weren’t even a part of the atmosphere. Completely ruins the vibe when you can’t see around the corner to the rest of the room, and the other half is just looking at a bight hallway. Drinks were very cool and yummy, but idk if I would go back in fear of wasting money getting sat by the door again…

The Conductor Club’s Wonkaween was definitely a night of pure imagination. The detailed decor and themed speciality cocktails were wonderful. The service was very friendly and took great care of us. This was our first experience with The Conductor Club and apparently they change themes throughout the year so I look forward to seeing what other themes they have. I highly recommend a reservation, because space is limited.
