Staff were really friendly. Amazing customer service! A tell sign of great service is asking if the customer needs anything else. They always made sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my meal.
Parkville market is always a great time!

What a great decision, and a truly genuine Vietnamese food experience.
I ordered the crispy spring rolls to start.
Then, decided on the oxtail soup as a main course, and was absolutely delighted. The spring rolls were light and flaky, and had the all-important fish sauce for dipping.
The oxtail soup was an amazing blend of noodles, the thick rich broth and a beastly hunk of oxtail. The meat had all the signatures of the best Vietnamese meat stew. Absolutely succulent!
Once you’ve gone around the culinary wheel at Parkville market a few times , and see the Vietnamese cubbyhole, you will know you’ve landed at one of the best establishments in Hartford.
Walk on over to King Pho Spot…..and enjoy!
I was craving noodles and saw that they had pho and pad Thai; I opted for the chicken pad Thai and it did not disappoint. I saw the woman whipping up my meal in the wok so it was nice, hot and fresh. This is sauteed noodles with plenty of chicken, peanuts, bean sprouts, and lime; the flavor was good. I also ordered the banh mi sandwich which came with sliced deli meat, sliced carrots, and various of ingredients; okay, the sliced deli meat didn’t seem normal for a banh mi, but the flavor was actually pretty good. In the past, I usually get roasted pork in it. I read reviews that some people didn’t like it. Now I am no means a banh mi connoisseur/expert, but I enjoyed it.
The service was great, the woman was friendly; the food took about 10 minutes. I was able to snag a picnic table and enjoyed my meal with my family and friends. My friend had their pho and she said the broth was a little too salty. Overall, a decent place; I’d have to try the pho myself next time and come back with an update.
They make their pho from scratch so you can taste the high quality in the broth. They also add the perfect amount of vegetables to the pho. It was about $19.50 for a bowl. The people working were so sweet and helpful when I was deciding what to choose. They give a generous amount of oxtail meat so if you’re really hungry I’d recommend that option
10/10 experience
