Me and my husband are very huge food critics. We spend good money to eat out and tip well. We are normal customers on Wickam location and spend over 50.00 each time. Dominica, Colombia and Puerto rican heritage are big on presentation, and love to feed people. We get the portions we are suppose to get on Wickham. We went to Dolson for the first time and the Manager needs to be present to observe. I’m not happy with the service of giving larger portions to some customers and giving smaller portions to us when we ordered the same exact size order. Not to mention chicken chunks are definitely not chicken strips that you buy out the frozen section in the supermarket and thats what we got. The food we received was not fresh and should have been due to the time if day we went. . We will stay faithful to wickham ave because we are not happy with dolson ave. food at this time. The potato salad was sitting and darkening on top which means its time to throw out and make fresh. I’m not sure why the food does not look or taste fresh if it’s the same owner and serving the same food. Dear Manager please correct whatever issues are going on on dolson because your customers are what drives your business.

Everything looked delicious, they give good portions sizes and the food was very tasty. Meat was well flavored. They just opened so I think signs decor may come soon .

Customer service here is always A1 for me. I have eaten some ready made food and it was decent . One day ago I ordered a #2 combo the boneless chicken with rice, salad, and a soda. The chicken was so hard and dry. Like it was refried and just sitting there. Like it was thrown in the microwave to heat up and packed. I paid almost 40 dollars for that meal. I was so upset. I have had boneless chicken at quite a few Spanish restaurants and they have always been fresh & moist and they put holes in the lid to vent. This one had no holes… I guess what was the point, they knew they did not cook them fresh. There is a Spanish restaurant called Nelly’s in New Windsor, but not the one on north plank road, the one on 32. All their food is A1 top tier. Their boneless fried chicken chunks are freshly cooked. All their food you order that’s not in the bar, they cook fresh! They also have a bar.

I came in here tonight, had such horrible service and I’m assuming it’s because of my skin color because there’s no other reason for that type of behavior, I received tonight. A woman came in the store in front of me, She was talking to the waiter and then she walked out the store. I told the waiter what I wanted and she proceeded to put my rice and beans in a container. The other lady came back so she made me wait until she finished getting her food and then cashed her out. Then, the waitress proceeds to do other things while leaving my rice and beans just sitting there on top of not even getting the other stuff I ordered ready. Next, she goes into the kitchen and brings out more food for guest sitting down. So I waited. I was already pissed off because I know what she was doing, and I want to see if she was going to interact with me to finish getting my food ready. I shouldn’t have to call and get her attention, she knew why I was standing there by the register and she should definitely know why I was standing by the door about to leave because you completely disregarded me. You probably assume that I’m only black without even knowing me and you proceeded to have me stand there and wait like an idiot while you serve everybody else and you don’t even come back to bag up my empanada and get my tres leche ready. Even the guy sitting down at the table look back at the waitress like you’re not gonna finish serving her. If you don’t want to serve people who are of the color then just say that I would definitely not walk back into your establishment.

Seems like they are cutting corners. Have ordered a few times recently and noticed the large beans are in a smaller cup and this time it was 75percent sauce and 25 percent beans. More like a soup sauce than beans with sauce!
