Slammers is a great neighborhood bar/pizzeria. Slammers opened in 1993 and has continued to thrive and grow in our customer base over the years. We are famous for our amazing pizza and fun easy-going atmosphere. Not from the area, but needed to grab some late night dinner. We got a large extra cheese pizza and a large cheesy bee pizza. Both are pictured, and both were AMAZING! There’s a few slices missing from each pic cause we couldn’t wait to dig in!
I am so glad we decided to go with Slammers, and I am happy to give them the 5 stars—truthfully I’d give them 10 stars if I could!
Delivery was outsourced by Uber Eats, which is no problem, but did result in a longer delivery time. Again, not the restaurant’s fault AT ALL, that’s an Uber Eats thing.
Anyways, why are you still reading this? Just go order the pizza, it is SO worth it!

The people here are truly the kindest. It’s a quick walk from my place. Their food is good. It’s never too long of a wait to get a beer even when it’s busy. Never seen a person here without a smile on their face. We’re lucky to have it here in Columbus.

Best karaoke spot on earth. The vibe is so good it tricks you into thinking you can sing. The pizzaaaaa and wings are illegally good. Im serious! It’s like witness protection program good. I went in humble and insecure, left thinking I’m on a world tour with a full stomach and zero vocal range. I don’t remember half the songs I sang, but I do remember ordering more foods. Priorities. 11/10 would embarrass myself here again.

I have been given recommendations that I should visit here, for quite awhile. I tried over Pride weekend, but it was too crowded and there was a line to enter. But, I knew this weekend would be different. I was at the convention center for an event, and decided to head to Slammers for a late lunch. The weather was decent and it was a nice 10-15 minute walk from the Hyatt Regency end of the convention center.
It looks like an old neighborhood bar, with decent sized interior and exterior spaces. I ordered my usual well gin and tonic, and studied the menu. Good selection of appetizers and sandwiches. But I got intrigued by one of their specialty pizzas, The Bobbi. The usual sauce and cheese, but the other toppings were bacon, pineapple and sliced jalapenos. I am an adventurous diner, and looking for different tastes, and the sweet heat of this pizza really thrilled me.
Drink price seemed on the high end, but I was served “tall” drinks, and I felt like I was drinking doubles, afterwards. So no complaint there, just you may have to pay more attention to how many drinks you are actually being served.

Food is good. We go for karaoke however, they have decided not to use three company/ host they had. Not currently a fan. The host has no knowledge of music or sound settings so the sound is horrible now. Though it’s not as busy and able to sing more, I’m at the point where quality is better than quantity.

The Slammers staff are some of the most amazing people on the planet. I’m a Jersey girl and love their pizza. That is way more than a compliment! Their pickle pie is to die for!!! I placed a pretty good sized order for a party. It was ready on time and as amazing as I expected it to be.The pizza? Of couse!!! Wings, pretzel sticks, vegan nuggets, all great!!!

The pizza tastes good but was undercooked. The cheese should have some visible browning, mine had almost none. Cook the pizza a little longer (and put on a hairnet) and this would’ve been 5 stars.
