This is authentic Jamaican. You do NOT get large portions. It is costly. $25 a person without what I ordered to take home. YES-it was that good. We ate in and then I bought more for home >_< Disappointed that what I took home had barely any Jerk sauce on it. We live too far away to go back and ask for more. The place is a little small hole in the wall type place. Locally owned. I always would rather spend a bit more to get good quality and support local. You won't regret it if you do! Even my picky kids loved it!

Weve ordered out a few times here. Im always reluctant to order oxtail out anywhere due to the fat, but we crossed our fingers and ordered oxtail. There was more fat then meat on the FIVE tails they gave us, a large order plus 2 beef patties, $38. Unfortunately, I will never do that again, Im mean the peas & rice were fine but almost $40 for a bowl of rice!?
Oh & the oxtail beef patty was also FULL of fat. Reg beef patty wasnt it either. Order at your own risk.
There are other Caribbean/Jamaican spots in the poconos.

This place is the most authentic Jamaican spot I’ve tried so far living in pennsylvania. The place is off the road it’s small and cute but very cozy. They have indoor seating and a beautiful large grill outside. The staff is friendly and the place smells good. The food is covered and kept clean. I got the curried goat and my friend got the jerk chicken. They asked if we wanted more sauce on our rice and made sure our food was served to us. Food was hot and tasted amazing.

My husband and I stopped in here today and had some of the best brown stew and curry chicken/goat. Will definitely stop back in before we head home. We couldn’t get away to the carribean for our anniversary this year but this sure satisfied our desire for some carribean food!

I am a Filipino and I have enjoyed the curry goat and the oxtail that we’ve ordered. We ordered the small size but the servings were huge! Both dishes were packed with so much flavor and both were tender and just melts in your mouth. It was hearty and the combination of meat, rice and veggies were just right to prepare us for our hiking trip. I’d go there again if we just live nearby.

Some of the best Jamaican food I’ve ever had! The curry chicken and jerk chicken and oxtail are amazing. So much flavor. Chicken was super moist. And just the right amount of heat. And the jerk sauce is delicious. Don’t forget an extra side of plantains. Sooo good! My wife loved the roti too! And the prices are reasonable and the owner Paula is delightful.

Probably the worse Jamaica Food I ever had in my life, no flavor, HUGE portion of rice, oxtail had no meat only fat, cabbage wasn’t even cooked, the plantain was okay, just absolutely disgusting food, don’t know how else to say it. The brown stew chicken tasted like the oxtail, so no flavor variation there. 0/10

The food is superb. The lady is very pleasant. The jerk chicken over rice is savory. Oxtail is tender and spicy. Good quality food, set up and cleanliness. Price is right. Highly recommended

I’m so glad I made the hour-long drive to this hidden gem! As someone from the Allentown/Easton area, I’ve been disappointed with the Jamaican food options locally. But this restaurant truly delivers! The customer service was top-notch (A1, as we say!) and the food was authentic and delicious. Paula was professional and answered all my questions.

Their jerk chicken is the real deal – they actually jerk the chicken in a drum pan, just like back home. And the rice and peas? Taste just like my grandmother’s cooking in Jamaica! It was like a taste of home.

The drive was well worth it, and I’ll definitely be back. If you’re craving authentic Jamaican cuisine, don’t hesitate to make the trip. Your taste buds will thank you!
