Overall the food is decent. The Garden skillet was fresh but needed a little more seasoning. The Classic breakfast was fine. The bacon is good but a little thin if you like bigger slices of bacon. The pancakes are just okay.
The Vanilla latte and Caramel latte were both decent.

I have visited both locations several times over the years and the food and service were always outstanding. However, over the last year or so both are lacking. The crepes were fine but cold by the time Imy server came back with the syrup (with a broken lid). I ordered oatmeal and corrected the server when he said something about power oatmeal. I restated my order of plain oatmeal with brown sugar. It appeared that a manager scooped off the bananas, put a side of brown sugar on the plate and brought it back to me. I didn’t end up eating it in the restaurant because I wasn’t sure what the dark brown spots in the sugar were. Previously, the sugar was light brown and didn’t have these dark brown things in them. I decided to not make a big deal and take it home and add my own sugar. Disappointing weekend breakfast out for somewhere that used to be my favorite.

Hills cafe is conveniently located in the beautiful Castle Hills neighborhood. The restaurant is super cute & clean with trendy vibes. We ordered chicken fried chicken, avocado toast, iron man omelet, chicken panini and all our dishes were licked clean.
The staff and service was A1! Highly recommend this place.

I love the convenience of this location for the community of Castle Hills. It was a nice place to meet my friend for breakfast and take time to catch up. The decor and atmosphere was great. It’s a cute little place and was very comfortable.
The menu is nice and they have a lot of options as well as some healthy choices. They gladly substituted pancakes for French toast, but I feel like I may have enjoyed the pancakes better.
They offer fresh squeezed orange juice which was the star of the show! However, they only offer one size and it’s nice and large. That wouldn’t be the best for kids but I’m sure they would bring additional glasses and you could separate it into smaller servings. My friend ordered a caramel latte And wanted a small orange juice but there wasn’t an option.
The food was good but not amazing. The service was okay. Our server never picked up straw wrappers and other trash that I placed at the edge of the table. It would have been so easy to grab that off the table while we enjoyed our meal.
I ordered the ‘For Mom’: scrambled eggs, bacon and substituted French toast for the pancakes. The French toast looked amazing but was pretty bland, even with a lot of butter and syrup that I added. It was also a bit tough. The bacon was cooked perfectly and the eggs were good.
My friend ordered the avocado toast. It was delicious. We couldn’t really see the oil that the menu indicated was drizzled on it but it was so fresh tasting. The fruit was nice and the scrambled egg whites were fine.
I’m sure I’ll try them again but I’ll probably choose other options.

Hill’s Café is a delightful spot to grab brunch with a friend. I ordered the Hills Benedict, and it was truly delicious. The combination of spinach, avocado, tomato, eggs, and hollandaise sauce was spot-on. The veggies tasted remarkably fresh. The staff were friendly and attentive, and our food was out at a timely manner. I had a wonderful experience and am eager to return.

This is undoubtedly one of the best brunch cafes in the area, in my opinion. The restaurant boasts a sophisticated interior and exudes a clean, welcoming ambiance that immediately puts you in a good mood. Not only is the food reasonably priced, but it also offers exceptional quality and flavors.
During my visit, I ordered the egg Benedict, and I was delighted to find a perfectly poached egg nestled on the plate. The delicate texture of the poached egg combined harmoniously with the substantial ham and English muffins, creating a truly delectable experience.
I paired my meal with a cup of coffee this time, but I’m already looking forward to my next visit when I plan to savor a freshly squeezed orange juice straight from the bar.

Tried the grilled cheese sandwich with fries during this visit. The sandwich had the right amount of cheese and I was able to have mushrooms added to it. It’s always a great time here.

What a delightful Cafe! The coffee was delicious and I was thrilled they had heavy whipping cream. I had the Hills power bowl and my friends had crepes, hash browns, and a couple of eggs benedict. One was thrilled to have gluten-free pancakes. Our server was amazing and we enjoyed our brunch visit. Next time we might even sit outside in their courtyard if it’s not triple degree weather. I highly recommend Hills Cafe.

I enjoyed my experience at this dining establishment. The food was great but the best thing about the place is they have a room with a garage door that will allow fresh air in while you dine. The only room for improvement is the accommodations to handicap people. I would recommend installing an electric bidet. This should cost less than $500 per toilet to get a commercial one, but even at the consumer level at $200 each, the disposal device is as expensive as TVs. I also like the fact that there are no televisions in the diner…
