Small place and it was packed at lunch. After trying the food I understand why. Food was amazing and the teriyaki sauce at the table made it better. Portions were generous and prices were honestly cheap. I will eat here again. Just go early or be prepared to wait.

One of my favorite hole in the walls in Wichita happens to be Teriyaki House on South Rock Road. Not only is the food incredible, but so are the owners. And for around $8 you can’t beat this meal in a box.

Fantastic Japanese cuisine at value prices, on Rock Road between Harry and Pawnee. Here is one of my top picks in town for a quick and delicious lunch or a casual and tasty Japanese dinner. They have a loaded menu with affordable prices, along with friendly and quick service that makes it a treat to dine in. The beef and chicken bowl and the chicken and veggie bowl are my top two lunch entrees that I could just live off of. Any of the hot basil or curry dishes I can also suggest for those wanting to explore their more authentic entrees, and the restaurant-made teriyaki sauce is the perfect touch to anything they serve. I give my highest recommendation to Teriyaki House for all locals, especially everyone at McConnell Air Force Base who are just down the road and are eligible for the military discount.

Amazing Mom and Daughter shop that serves authentic Chinese food. I have a high standard for teriyaki and this is excellence. Great prices, great food and great service. Stop by and check it out for yourself. If you’re at the Pizza hut, it’s the building across the parking lot.
