This place absolutely deserves to be discovered. This family-run spot just opened recently and you can taste the love and care in every single bite.
The carnitas are incredibly tender, with the perfect balance of crispy edges and juicy flavor. The gorditas are unlike anything else around – packed with fresh, flavorful ingredients, and filled with authentic taste. The tortillas are handmade to order and you can taste the difference in every warm, soft bite. Not sure which filling to choose? Ask to sample any of the meats – you can’t go wrong! And don’t skip the beans, potatoes, or rice…all absolutely delicious.
Every dish feels like it came straight from someone’s home kitchen – nothing mass-produced, nothing rushed, just pure, flavorful cooking made with pride. The restaurant itself is very clean and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. They make you feel at home, From the moment you walk inside. The food here is as if your Mother or grandmother were cooking in the kitchen. The food looks, taste so authentic it makes you Wonder how they do it. Ive lived in this town 26 years and have tried New and old Mexican style restaurantes, but this by far is the Best. Also they allow to BYOB!! Dont just take my Word but try it yourself. Very satisfied always!

They make their carnitas and asados every day fresh with made to order flour tortillas. Absolutely a rarity among North Jersey to have such a delightful treat. Every time I come there the smell always makes me order one more thing than I went in there to get. They have gorditas, tacos, quesadillas and plates with meat, rice and beans. They have all flavors of Jarritos. They also have canned sodas with bottled water. Atole, tamales and other special food on the weekend starts on Fridays. Todo está extremadamente delicioso.

I had the carnitas burrito. It was a nice size and the pulled pork was VERY good. They also provided a red sauce and a green sauce. The red sauce had a little kick to it, it was good. I didn’t try the green sauce. Very friendly people. I’ll be back.

Food is very authentic, the owners are so nice and gracious. I literally tried everything and it’s all really good. My favorite is the pulled chicken. You can’t go wrong with the pork as well that comes in red or green sauce.The tortillas are handmade and very fresh and fluffy. I strongly recommend.

Wow! Wow! Wow! The food is just as special as the people who serve it. I ordered two carnitas y gorditas. They were fantastic and spot on. Very tender, moist and flavorful. I added some green salsa and that helped kick it up notch. This place was amazing. Make sure to say hello to Bruce (the manager).
