We opened our first restaurant in the summer of 2004 in Palo Alto, California! Over a decade and multiple locations later, we have turned our passion for fresh, high-quality deep dish & thin crust pizza and genuine hospitality into a signature experience that can only be summed up as “Patxi’s.” Patxi’s embodies what your favorite neighborhood restaurant should be a warm, welcoming place where you can share a delicious meal with friends and family and feel right at home. As we continue to grow, we’ll stay true to our roots and never forget what makes each bite of our pizza so special. When you walk through our doors, you’re in for a treat. When you sit down at our table, you’re family!

We were planning to have dessert and he did not even ask for dessert and straight brought us bill.
Time of closing was 11 pm.
WE WOULD NEVER GO THIS PLACE.
We placed our order at 5:09 PM. For the first 45 minutes, nothing arrived—not even a starter. I had to check in with the manager to ask what was going on. Our starter finally arrived almost an hour after ordering, and the explanation we received was simply that they were “busy,” even though we felt completely ignored by both the waiter and the manager.
Our pizzas didn’t arrive until 1 hour and 15 minutes after the order time. By then, the kids were hungry and upset. To “make up for it,” they threw in a pre-appetizer and dessert, which together were worth no more than $14, especially since we arrived during happy hour. This did not come close to compensating for the excessive delay.
When I raised concerns with the manager, Mario, he was extremely rude and dismissive. His response was essentially, “Yeah, we gave you a free appetizer and dessert,” as if that justified the situation—on my birthday, no less.
Because the service took so long, we were stuck at the restaurant for 2.5 hours, and I ended up missing my flight. A dinner that should have taken 45 minutes completely derailed my evening and travel plans.
While the pizza itself was decent, good food does not make up for poor service and rude management. There are many other great pizza places in this area that respect their customers’ time. I will never return to this restaurant.
Will definitely be back!
Their pizza is perfect compared to the many places I’ve tried-good cheese, dough, and just the right ratio of ingredients for a pizza. I can still eat the pizza crust because it is still soft and not burnt or overcooked like a biscuit.
One time they did make one mistake when we ordered split toppings and some toppings got swapped. Try to remember your toppings when they show you the pizza before leaving.
We usually order the thin crust, but we once accidentally ordered the pan crust and surprisingly it turned out pretty good, but personally I still prefer a thin crust. Not a fan of the sauce on top.
They do take a bit longer to bring the food out so we usually order for pick up. Parking around there can be a bit tricky when you go during peek hours.
