Traveling and we didn’t want Domino’s. Waited to be seated for awhile, but our sever was very friendly. Waited an hour and it wasn’t busy but did overhear they were understaffed. Bread sticks were ok, but sause was hot and great. We ordered the margarita pizza and it was soggy and needed salt. But the Vermont pizza was out of this world! They use fresh toppings and nothing was greasy. So all in all it was a decent experience.

An average Italian food restaurant with middle of the road prices. Its worth noting that while the bulk of the menu is good but unremarkable the pizza is the best in town and is a fair price. As long as you are not out for a birthday or something similar it would make a fine choice for dinner or lunch.

I ordered a calzone this afternoon at around 2:40 and was told it would be about a 20 minute wait until pick up. When I arrived around 25 minutes later I was told it was not ready yet. after waiting 10 more minutes I was informed the sausage wasn’t cooking very fast and that it would be about 4 more minutes. I did not receive my calzone until 3:25, a 45 minute wait. I work in the restaurant industry so I can understand running out of something and needing to cook more, however there should be enough communication between the back and the front so that as a customer I can be informed of how long my order is actually going to take when I arrive not 10 minutes after the fact. The lady was short with me and not very unapologetic, a little more friendly costumer service would have been greatly appreciated. It is unfortunate because I love their calzones! Food is usually good, service is usually less than desireable.

I never write reviews but this pizza is so awful I just had to do it. The dough sucks, the sauce is bland and i think they used about 2 oz of cheese for a large pizza. Reminded me of the awful pizza they used to serve in the school cafeteria, except worse. It’s tough to mess up a pizza but these guys do it well. Oh and it was $15 for a large cheeze, I’m sure they had no more than $2 worth of ingredients on this sad, dissapointing pie.

Ordered food to go and they sd it’d be 20 mins. Went to pick up the food, and sat for another 40 minutes waiting.

My steak and cheese (Philly cheesesteak) was basically what seemed like slightly cooked roast beef with hardly any cheese, and raw peppers and onions. It was gross, and I couldn’t finish it. Used to be a good place to eat.

So rude! I just called to order. I asked if they delivered, the kid said yes. I told him it would be going to 36 College St, Vermont College of Fine Arts. He said, “Hang on and let me make sure we are delivering tonight.” I said okay. I wait for about 2 minutes and someone else gets on the phone and says, “Can I help you?” I said, “Yes, I’m trying to place an order for delivery.” She says, “Okay.” I said, “So…do you deliver?” because I was supposedly on hold to find out about a delivery! She says, “To the college?” I said yes. She says, “We will deliver for like, $20, I’m not delivering for an order of breadsticks.” I responded that this was completely uncomfortable and I’d order somewhere else.

So unnecessarily rude! For the record, it was an order for several people and would have been 2 large thick crust pizzas, breadsticks, and a caesar salad.

I ordered from Positive Pie (the staff was friendly and properly trained unlike Angeleno’s) and will do so from now on when I travel here.

Serving frozen pasta. When asked on what kind of cheese is used. The servers and the chef had no idea. Better to heat walmart frozen food at home rather than spending exorbitant amount of money for the same stuff here
