Having just returned from Japan, I was curious to try Kyuramen x TBaar in Tigard. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience! The restaurant itself has a fantastic interior — stylish and thoughtfully designed; which is great to see in this area.

I started with the omurice combo with tonkatsu and Demi-glaze sauce, which came out piping hot with great presentation! The tonkatsu was crispy, flavorful, and very well executed.

For the ramen, I ordered the #1 Tokyo Tonkotsu with black garlic. The broth had great depth and richness – the noodles were firm, the chashu was well prepared, and the marinated egg showed nice attention to detail. The only critique I have for the broth… it could have less fat in it.

The matcha pudding dessert, included with the omurice combo, was a nice touch when served after the meal. Flavor was good, texture was dense.

Service was friendly and the staff were very kind, though I did wait a few minutes at the front before being acknowledged.. this drives me crazy. Just say hi.

Once seated everything went smoothly.

Overall, Kyuramen is a great ramen spot in Tigard with flavorful food and a thoughtfully designed space. I’d definitely come back!

not my favorite ramen i’ve had but still good! they had a deal for half off appetizers with a full priced bowl of ramen. i got the fried gyoza and a black garlic tonkotsu ramen with a thai iced tea. for dessert i had match pudding. the gyoza was amazing and perfectly crunchy and the thai iced tea was the perfect sweetness even without sugar adjustment. the ramen wasn’t my personal cup of tea but i’d be willing to come back to try a different flavor of broth. the matcha pudding was amazingly creamy and so smooth.

Tried this spot for lunch today with a coworker and was blown away by how beautiful the place is absolutely stunning aesthetic, which was such a pleasant surprise.

The menu had a lot of appealing options, though as someone who prefers chicken, I found the choices a little limited. I went with the Curry Ramen with Tonkatsu, and we shared spicy dumplings and fried gyoza as appetizers. Everything was delicious, the noodles had great bounce, the ajitama was perfectly done, and the broth was spot on.

Service, however, left a bit to be desired. Our server seemed inexperienced and didn’t really offer much in the way of guidance. After bringing our food and drinks, she didn’t check back in but luckily, each booth has a little “call button,” which might be how they intend things to work.

On the upside, the brown sugar milk tea boba I ordered was outstanding. The best I’ve ever had, and only $5.50, which felt like a steal.

The total came to about $60 for two entrees, two appetizers, and drinks. A little steep for lunch, but reasonable given the amount and quality of food.

All in all, a unique spot with incredible atmosphere and tasty food. I’ll definitely be back.

I tried the Kyushu Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen at Kyuramen and really enjoyed it. The broth was rich and creamy with a nice level of spice, not too strong but very flavorful. The noodles were chewy and cooked just right, and the pork was tender and tasty. Overall, it was a comforting and satisfying bowl of ramen. Definitely worth trying if you like spicy tonkotsu ramen

What a pleasant experience! Beautiful atmosphere and people, smiles all around! It’s very meat forward and no gluten free options, but what I had was great! My water was never empty, the servers were all very helpful
I would only return for dessert, but would say if you’re a carnivore get after it!!

3 people at the table, we each paid 22 dollars, which is an ok price for dinner. We all agreed it was pretty mid though. Some plates that I suspect they don’t make much were definitely on the meh side. Would say the ones that leaned inedible were the pork dishes they weren’t in ramen – as they had a boars taint smell to them and were overcooked.

We all adored the decor. It was really cute. Would highly recommend sticking to ramen at this place.

It’s definitely ok for suburb food though I’d say.

— appetizers —
Yakitori sticks ⭐⭐✨
– just ok, pork was inedible though, over cooked
– small serving size for the price

Spicy Edamame ⭐⭐⭐⭐
– little salty but best app on the table

Spicy cucumber ⭐⭐✨
– usually my favorite thing to eat but this was flavorless – no spice at all

— entrees —
Katsuobushi pork ramen ⭐⭐⭐
– pretty mid but best thing on the table
– pork was soft and braided well
– ramen not super spicy at all

Omurice with pork ⭐
– not worth, could make at home
– pork severely over cooked
– couldn’t bite it in half or even cut with a knife

Epic on all fronts! White garlic shoyu and mega bowl, passion fruit tea and pina colada with boba. New all time favorites!! Atmosphere unmatched, stunning! And the robot server on the floor level was a fun surprise to watch.

Our totally for all items were $87.66 two drinks, 1 water, two Ramen items, two appetizers and 1 dessert (3 people in group). Food was good, atmosphere was unique, clean, fast service, many photos opportunities provided. There is an attached bubble tea store as you enter in. Appetizer skewers, very small potions.. the pictures were definitely zoomed in but the flavor was bold in all of them. Dessert was very scrumptious!
Good date night, hang out but I would not go here as a big family gathering. Maybe just a special event/celebration.

The food was good, with the beef skewer and the karaage being great. Overall though, come here for the social or a first date, but not for the food. The wait is a bit much. Took us 45 min to get our table

Loved the place! The servers are very friendly and easy going and I adore the little robot service that delivered our appetizer. The ramen is very rich and flavorful but got a little tiring halfway through but still delicious. My family and I really liked how pretty the place is as well! 😀
