Loved the vibe and atmosphere of this cafe. Its a cozy crowded, book nook set up, its really cute and neat. The service was great, everyone was very friendly. They have a good size menu, with many different options. I order the breakfast sandwich on an asiago bagel, a blueberry lemon cupcake and cold brew pumpkin spice Chai. The cupcake wasn’t too sweet, and had good flavor, however the frosting is on the heavier side and personally I prefer more whipped frosting but it was still really good. The bagel was soft and tasty, and the sandwich was packed. The chai was really well balanced between tea and coffee. I really enjoyed it. My friend got the breakfast sandwich with bacon on a croissant, pumpkin spice Chai and lemon blueberry scone. She said everything was tasy and good portions. She loved the croissant, saying it was melty and buttery. Will definitely be back with friends again.

Urban Grounds was the perfect morning stop during our vacation. The staff members were lovely, our lattes were solid, and the food was delicious and filling. Using the outside seating, we enjoyed breakfast with our dog, Captain Hook!
For my vegetarian friends, add the veggie egg soufflé on a warmed croissant – 10/10 breakfast.
Cannot wait to come back and try more 🙂

Last few times we were here the food was much better.
Barely any meat on the sandwiches and the tea was scented but not flavored.
This is usually our go to when in town. We will be finding a new favorite spot. Disappointed today. Staff was less than hospitable. Won’t be back.

Was driving through the area and wanted to sit down with the family to get some coffee and hangout. WOW. The atmosphere here is amazing, its super cozy and quaint while feeling very private as well. The coffee was extremely good as well, It was nice to see that they had ready to eat options like sweets and savories. If you have gluten issues there are gluten free options, and if you don’t eat sweets, they have egg based dishes. Would highly recommend

Wow, what a great little spot I stumbled upon!
I was in Tarpon at the Railroad Depot Museum and needed a quick bite.
So even though this spot is more of a coffee and bakery restaurant I checked it out, and glad I did.
They have nice pre-made healthy salads, and lots of drink choices.
So I had a pasta salad and drink, very tasty.
The restaurant is nice and cozy and eclectic.
You can sit out front as well if you desire, good spot to people watch.
I would have given Urban Grounds ‘5’s’ across the board but the woman at the counter could have been a little more friendly.
Mostly a younger hip crowd so perhaps trying to not encourage a 60 year old dude to patronize the shop.
That said I would still go back, maybe just take my wife this time!

I stayed in Tarpon Springs for a work trip, this was close enough to walk to which is how I discovered it. I chose to go back all 5 days! The staff was great. The coffee was perfect. For food, I had an egg souffle and the lemon blueberry scone twice! So good! Plus I love the aesthetic too!

My favorite local coffee shop in Tarpon Springs! I love the featured coffee drinks and my daughter loves the coconut protein balls! I bring everyone here from out of town! It’s so cute and we love to sit outside! I would come here more if they had a drive thru LOL!

I love this place! I work close & go there almost every week to pick up lunch, sometimes a coffee too. Staff is always friendly and makes really good wraps! It is pretty busy so you have to get there super early for seating or just be lucky if someone happens to leave while you’re there. Most of the time there are a couple of tables outside open too. Wish this place had a rewards system tho, I would collect a lot of points lol

I went a while ago and figured I’d post a review. The prices aren’t too bad if the quality was a little better. The atmosphere is great, I think the multi-story aspect really adds to it and allows for more interesting seating. The drinks were lackluster, honestly wouldn’t come here again just because of them. I wish I had tried food when I went just for the sake of it. I had gotten a shaken espresso but with the ice and foam from the shaken espresso by the time I got home and it had settled it was about 1/4 of the cup… even with the ice! Probably about 2 sips. I don’t know if they just gave me a smaller amount than usual but for close to $5 it was quite disappointing. Maybe I should have tried a latte but truthfully I just won’t be back, the atmosphere (and possibly the pastries) is definitely the main focus. I love supporting small businesses where I can but it’s just disappointing when a small business charges a lot for something that other small businesses within half a mile do significantly better for 50 cents more.

This is on of the more unique coffee shops I’ve been to and it’s in a perfect location in downtown Tarpon Springs. It’s very close to the Pinellas Trail, a great place to grab coffee on a bike ride. I enjoyed a great latte and a fresh blueberry scone.
