We went to Powell Gardens and wanted to eat local. The restaurant had a brochure at the Osceola cheese store so we gave it a try. The fried cauliflower was quite good. I had the spaghetti. Nice sized portion and tasty. The garlic Texas toast was disappointing. My husband had hamburger steak and said it was very good. They have several options for sides. He had the beets. The roll that came with his dinner was hot, fresh and delicious. I took a piece of pecan pic home; it was one of the best I’ve ever had. They also had fresh tomatoes for sale. If we’re back in the area we’ll go back. I’d love to try breakfast.

The food was delicious. I got a 1/2lb BBQ bacon burger with fries, and for dessert I got a banana cream pie. The pie was a bit heavy on extract, and had a soft chemical after taste; However they replaced it for me with Butterscotch and it was delicious. The burger was amazing, and the fries where seasoned perfect. The staff was kind, and respectful.

If you stop in for fast food when you could come here then you’re crazy. If you know that your roll is used to sop up gravy then stop and eat. And the pies…omg…the pies. Simple, quick, inexpensive. Do you and the family a favor.

Not going to lie…. When the hubby wanted to go here for Valentine’s Day I was not excited.. But y’all, it was fantastic!!! I had the spiced shrimp, cucumbers & onions, smoked baked potato, and roll!! My hubby had the hot roast beef with mashed potatoes and he raved about it and he never gets excited about food. And then our service was so good. The server thought our food didn’t come out soon enough and gave us free dessert!! Our entire bill with a 20% tip was $40! Plus we enjoyed visiting the locals and they gave away free roses as you left.

There’s an indoor garbage can out front that has half fallen apart from the weather. We walked in and the general restaurant looked the same as the can outside. We ordered our food and the amount for the price wasn’t there. The food looked and tasted like it came from Sisco I ordered what the menu said was thin sliced roast beef with gravy on top not what I got. I never got a refill on my drink.i got up and got another kids menu after I knew the waitress had forgotten the second time. Lastly the order came out at different times. All in all I will not go back nor will I recommend this restaurant to any one but the health department.

I have no idea why I pulled into Odessa, but I quite enjoyed the burger and pie I devoured at this relatively simple stop. It’s nothing too wild in terms of a menu, but if you seek delicious comfort food on the road, pull off and take a seat.

Ok food and ok service. Pricing wasn’t bad. With three entrances and exits, navigating the parking area is not hard for a vehicle towing another.
