Stopped in for a few beers while boating around Cape May Point. Lots of dock space availableon what turned out to be an extremely warm day for late Sepmember. Great waterside atmosphere with cold beer. A great spot to visit, especially if you are boating and need a cold drink or two. Food Truck was on site, but we just drank.

Live music and awesome atmosphere! The drink service was also great! Food truck took WAY too long. Taco truck did not open in time which backed up the West Side truck. Food was good once we finally got it but we waited in line for over 45 minutes to even place an order. I would recommend going just for drinks or bringing your own food, especially with kids!! Drinks were delicious! Highly recommend the Breaking Bass

Have been there twice so far. The first time was was there opening day. We were early and the first customers of the year. What great views and atmosphere . Had such a great time there. We didn’t have food on either visit, but a lot of people were eating, so I’m guessing that it’s pretty good.

Is it busy? Yes. But you’re seated quickly. The drinks are good, the food trucks are great, but the views are the best part. The back deck has the best views of the marsh, but the tables in the sand can seat more and are perfect for sharing with friends. Be patient with the staff, there aren’t enough of them. It’s totally worth it though !

First time here. Went to see a band that we knew. Very crowded. A little difficult moving around. Service was fine at the bar.

We came for the bike & car show by shuttle. It was chaos. The guy directing traffic had to make the decision to stop the shuttle from coming all the way up to where we had been dropped off, but nobody standing in line waiting to return was aware. We ended up getting an uber back to our hotel.

We didn’t have food, so 3 Star by default.
Service was decent, but the crowd was bigger as well.
Atmosphere was great. They had Rob Benton and Chris Powers. This show was amazing and people were vibin’ high. We were there for our daughters 21st BDay. It was a blast. Google won’t upload the videos though, sry!

If you’ve never been here and you enjoy a laid back bar with decent prices compared to Avalon and Stone Harbor then definitely stop by and check them out.
You can grab a seat at the bar or ask the hostess for a table. You order drinks from your server but if you want food you have to go up to the food truck/trucks (the amount of food trucks will depend on which night you go, from my experience there are two on the busy nights and one on slow nights). Make sure to get your table number as you’ll have to give it to the food truck when placing your order.
A food runner will bring the food to your table but make sure to grab utensils while at the food truck because they don’t bring any to you (we found this out when asking for a fork and knife and were told to get them at the truck). We’ve had some really good food from the trucks but think it’s a bit silly having to get up and walk back outside past the host desk to order food just for a runner to bring you the food anyway, I don’t know why they just don’t allow you to place the order with the server or order it online.
Usually the service is decent but when we went tonight (a Wednesday around 7pm) the service was horrible. We sat at the table for a good 25mins before flagging down a server to place our drink order. The drinks came out quickly but then we didn’t see our server again until we yet again flagged her down. Again, the drinks arrived quickly but then she was gone again until we flagged her down for the check. After waiting another 10mins or more I finally got up and went to find the server and have her process the payment. We would’ve had another round had she been checking in on us. It wasn’t busy at the tables and there seemed to be 4 servers working plus a food runner and bus person (the bus person was on the ball and cleared our food stuff quickly) and with only about a dozen tables seated (3 tables a piece max) there shouldn’t have been such a lack of service. This was unusual when compared to our other experiences here so don’t let it deter you but just be aware it happens.

If you’re there on a good night you’ll get treated with a beautiful sunset as you’ll see in the pics I’m attaching.

Go for the drinks and sunset but don’t write off the food because it’s from a food truck, we’ve been pleasantly surprised. It’s also nice if you’re staying in Avalon and need a break from that area!

Im never one for negative reviews so ill make this as neutral as possible! Hostess was super friendly and let us in on the deal (food truck only and the gist of ordering drinks). When she sat us, we didnt know this at the time but our table didn’t have a number on it. The waitress came and took our drink order and said she’d bring a number back because that is the way the food truck runners knew to bring our food to the table. That never happened. Drinks were slow and my mojito wasnt very good. We didnt order food as the waitress didn’t know what our table number was. We left without finishing our drinks or ordering food. Looking back, the hostess should have sat us at 1. A table with an umbrella (we were one of two tables without, many free tables however) and 2. Should have either brought a number over (the numbers were written on bouys) or, again, sat us at another, more “finished” table. The bill was $16 for two cokes and a mojito. Its a new place so there will be teething troubles. Hope things get a bit more streamlined when the kitchen is done. Also, the food truck runners didnt really know the table layout either and found themselves wondering around with the food. We may try it again next year.

Food trucks, incredible atmosphere, live music all the time. Very crowded in the summer time after 4:00. The bartenders overall aren’t great – they play favorites and cater to younger folks.
