I got fish tacos, Aguachiles, and oysters. The fish tacos and aguachiles were delicious but the oysters were sooooo freaking disgusting which was surprising because they were actually pretty pricey. I would be open to giving this place another try because the other food was good but I don’t think I’ll everrrrr get oysters from a Mexican restaurant again they were the worst I’ve ever had!

Honestly is overpriced and taste of sea food taste was low… Good Menuno but if Mariscos is the main dish it should be a good to great flavor. We can tell Mariscos are not really fresh… cocktail (vuelve a la vida $40.00)
I think they can improve taste… The Tower is missing lot of Salt and lime juice… empanadas for appetizers were not crispy…
I was disappointed…
We drove 2 hours from TN to try this place….

The food was excellent. Rather than starting out with the typical chips and salsa, they served us tostadas that were excellent. The food we received was great and the portions were larger than we expected. The service was friendly. My family and I highly recommend it and I hope we make it back there someday.

I thought about this for a long time before commenting. I like going there for the Louisiana shrimp—they’re very good. My husband had already mentioned that during his recent visits they would just seat them and then not come back to check on them. In my case, it wasn’t like that; our waiter was very attentive compared to my previous visits (which I didn’t pay for, my friends or husband do).
This time, however, the bill didn’t add up. I was charged about $35 or more above what the food supposedly costs, and something we ate upset our stomachs—we had diarrhea.
So I didn’t like the service overall (although this time our server us excellent), and the food is mostly expensive. I don’t think I’ll return because of the overcharge or hidden prices. It’s also worth mentioning that we left a $50+ tip on top of what the ticket said we had to pay. I repeat: according to my calculations, I was charged an extra $35 to $50.
The cocktail is extremely overpriced for what it is.

So, I will say that while it wasn’t what I was expecting, it wasn’t terrible — just a bit strange and not quite the eating experience I anticipated.
In lieu of chips and salsa, they offer some sort of a shredded crab tostada. To quote our server, they do not have chips and salsa. A little weird for a Mexican restaurant, but okay.
My fiancée ordered the usual, arroz con pollo, and I ordered what I like for gauging the flavor and authenticity I’m looking for in Mexican food — carne asada tacos, plain and simple.
Her ACP came with a little American flag in middle. Kinda cute, kinda on the nose, but a nice presentation overall. My tacos were a bit dry, but they were okay. I wouldn’t rush back here, though.
I think I mistook this place for the one next door inside the Best Western. Mariscos El Paso seems to cater more to Mexican-style seafood — which again is an odd take for me, but may be interesting to others.
p.s. the music was some really loud marimba-surf over the PA, not for me personally but maybe turn it down a little so patrons can conversate

I did not expect the decor walking into here but, I loved it. Everything was really unique and distinguished the resturant a lot from others. The food was also great, and the lunch menu was affordable but also diverse.
Overall a 10/10 experience

Good food. Is expensive though. 1 Margarita $22.99 + tax. Guacamole was 11.99 + tax. The 3 steak tacos weren’t bad in price 12.99 + tax & but came with no sides. Over all good experience, except the $90 ticket plus tip for 2 people.

The entire experience is great service is fantastic.. the food is very very expensive! The menu ranges from about $14.99-$39.99 they give you a crab taco as pictured instead of chips and dip. It all depends on your taste of food and seafood level how your experience will be. I personally will eat just about anything that comes out of the ocean. So I’m pretty comfortable with rje options.

I ordered a ribeye steak with shrimp, and I understand that the shrimp comes with sauce, but putting the shrimp and sauce on the same plate as the rice and steak is a terrible idea. You don’t have to be a genius to realize that the shrimp should be served in a separate dish, as the steak and rice get completely soaked and become inedible. I placed two orders and paid $78 for something that, in my opinion, was poorly prepared. According to the manager, that’s how they serve it, with the meat and rice covered in sauce.

Had takeout here while visiting Hendersonville. I was truly surprised how fresh and good the food was. I am always cautious when on the road and eating at unknown food establishments. The other reviews are pretty accurate with positivity. I highly recommend eating here if you are looking for mexican food.
