Have heard about this place from a few different people and finally decided to stop in on the way home from work and I’m so glad we did! The fresh fried pork rinds are awesome and the burgers are absolutely amazing! Doesn’t look like much from the road but the inside is super clean and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Definitely going to come back soon!

Old school “dive bar”. Good ambiance in the bar with music playing. There is a pool table a well, which is an extra perk. Staff is solid and the food, especially the burgers are cooked really well. The staff gives a solid pour on the drinks and there is bar, table, and booth style seating. Great bar to check out and to go back again!

Was in town from the North East, and was sent to B&I by a Lansing local. So glad we went! Maddie and Rob were awesome hosts. Food was tremendous, drinks were cold! Cant wait to come back to the best damn dive bar around.

This place is great! Was recommended by some folks at the Michigan State Police Academy while I was there for some training. Food was really good and the price was right! Staff was friendly and the place was clean and well kept. Worth a stop if you’re in the area.

Taco Tuesday happens at a lot of other places, but, if you want a great taco, B & I for Wednesday lunch is where you want to go. WELL stuffed with their special house blend meat sauce; biggest tacos I’ve had in a while.

I have driven by the B&I for many years and had never stopped by. I looked up the food menu online and knew that I needed to stop by. The outside may look a bit rough, but the inside is very clean. The crowd was light, and the bartender was the waitresses as well. She was very quick to approach with a friendly smile. I knew that I was going to order the olive burger, and I was not disappointed. The food arrived at the perfect pace with some delicious fried pickle spears arriving first. I will definitely be coming back to try the pork rinds and pretzels with cheese. After the Dispatch burned down, we were looking for a close dive bar with great food and the B&I fits. Please stop by and enjoy some amazing food and drinks.

It is on my list of “Dive local bars” that turn out to be a real gem. Went for a retirement party on 3/29/25 and enjoyed the best fresh out of the fry chicarrones (pork rinds) with hot sauce, fresh homemade chips with onion dip and an olive burger that can compete and hold it’s own with the likes of Olymic broil, Airport Tavern, and South Riley Tavern. Will definitely be going back
